  1. Right now, even with the ability to remove the FCR and the AGM-114Ls, the apache is incredibly powerful. One of those reasons is the missile warning system installed on the AH-64D. I would like to see at some point the ability to remove the system as an option for mission makers to balance out the aircraft with other helicopters especially in a multiplayer server. Also with cold war becoming a popular setting for DCS, being able to remove it would put the helicopter more in line with an apache that would have been around in the late 80's to early 90's. Obviously there are still many difference between the AH-64A and the AH-64D we currently have besides just the FCR and CMWS but those willing to take more creative liberties would appreciate it. Even in the setting the helicopter is based around (which is from 2002), removal of the CMWS is not unrealistic considering the thumbnail for the Wikipedia page of the AH-64 features an AH-64D flying in Iraq without it equipped. (See attached picture or look up the page). I don't know how tied to other parts of the aircraft CMWS is or how easy it would be to disable it but it would be a nice small addition.
  2. That would be sick. The sight in VR is very disorienting to use and takes me out of the experience.
  3. In that case I do apologize for the ignorance and I appreciate the information. I'm surprised there was no safety system or stops installed to prevent this from happening. That being said there still is a very minor bug regarding the sight being able to look in certain directions.
  4. So my questions are then: 1. How do I fix this after it's been titled so much? 2. How do I prevent this from happening? Do I need to close the doors every time the pilot goes into a sharp bank?
  5. My friend and I both are having this issue persist and can not multicrew the Mi-24P without this issue presenting itself. The issue is, after activating the Raduga ATGM sight and the pilot maneuvers the helicopter around causing the sight to exceed gimbal limit, the sight will get stuck appearing that the aircraft is rolling. Despite this, the stabilizer will continue trying to stabilize the sight causing it to break more. Sometimes afterwards it is possible to "center" the sight enough to fire a missile though it is still very slanted. Occasionally, it will get bad enough that the sight will start clipping through something on the helicopter and looking basically 90 degrees downward in a position it would be impossible for the sight to look. Initially I thought it was something to do with a FAQ post "Why does my Raduga ATGM sight get stuck and I cannot center it? You exceeded the 60-degree gimbal slew of the sight. You must reset the Observe switch to reset it. If that fails, cycle the Raduga system power that will take 3 minutes to realign." but again the clipping aspect made it seem more than that and the suggested fixes didn't do anything outside of just closing the sight doors. We've had this issue on different maps and different issues. We both use trackir and use a joystick to move the sight around if that is relevant. I found this post from last year detailing the same issue with no real fix. I video taped two separate instances of this happening. Quick 2 min video with the bug. Ignore people talking about irrelevant stuff. Much longer video of the whole mission. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1aVDHia_lcddIYJDxCsZykEWJkEesExsb?usp=sharing Tracks from both videos as well as an additional third that wasn't captured on video.
