Have you tried resetting environment data in Windows settings VR?

I'm thinking of getting an HP Reverb G2 and running DCS at the headset's native resolution, without supersampling. I'm playing in SP, mostly WWII campaigns by Reflected. Will the PC able to maintain 45 HZ with reprojection?
That should be very achievable.

I prefer smoothness over higher visual settings. Un-smoothness (if that is even a word) breaks the immersion for me.
Same for me. Smooth rules. I'm running a 5800x3d paired with a 4080 and have adjusted game settings/openxr (with MT), to achieve 90fps. I only run the G2 at 90hz, tried 60hz once and after a few minutes wanted to gouge out my eyeballs.
I'm also picky about which maps I run. Some are much better on FPS than others. Again with the maps I'll take smooth all day long. If I can't run a map in VR at close to 90fps I'll not fly that map.

I was having crashes every time with todays OB update until I realized I was using an older version of OpenXR Tool Kit, when I updated to 1.2.4 it works fine.

Hey,
I'm just getting back into DCS after a while away. Dipping my toes into mp flying. I'm wondering about voice coms, have people switched over to in game VOIP or still using discord?
Thanks

Smoothest two for me are NTTR and PG. Worst is Marianas.

As long as there aren't any bits of moose embedded into the landing gear, it should be fine.
Not an issue, the polar bears keep the moose off the runways.

I waited in line day one for the reference 7900xtx. By the time I got to the counter with cc in hand they were sold out. I went home empty handed and disappointed, now I'm thinking that was not a bad thing.

Did you try a different mouse, or have you tried changing the mouse polling rate?

Just contact your local HP support, they will exchange cable for free.
Local HP support tell me they only have a 1m replacement cable for the Reverb G2... 1m = 3.2 feet. They had not heard of the 6m V2 cable... argh. Picture using a 1m cable... it ain't pretty.

+1 on the Ikea Poang.

That plane is irreparable.

Make sure you are adjuting this with Special Options "HMD render eye" option and not VR tab "mirror eye source". They do different things...
See my post above.
-
Options> Special Options> Select A-10CII> HMD Render Eye> select Left, right or both.
Works fine for me on HP Reverb G2.

Yes. And they seem to have organized themselves into a roving band of Karens intent on spoiling DCS for VR.
I hear there's a new squad looking for members. The "Roving Karens".
Karen it's not a name. It's a rank you earn...
