Thanks that worked and now i don't get the error. However when i select aircraft Rafale pack->Instant action, i dont see any missions in the centre column:

There is no "Mods" folder in the "Saved games\DCS" folder: However the "Mods" folder is in the path "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dyamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft: If you see there are other folders there like "F-16C" and this aircraft does load up properly. so i think I have ut the rafale in the correct mods folder. Please advise Regards Ajey

Hi Everyone, Further to my post about error messages, the Rafale download folder is "RAFALE PACK VERSION 006 2.7.10" but the error message i get is for "Rafale Pack 2.5.6.55960": I tried this on another installation (as compared to my pervious one, and I still get that error. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards Ajey

no, there is no other folder, in my first screenshot, you can see there is only one, which is giving the error

Thanks Eric. As you can see in my first screenshot, the aircraft folder was already there on external D drive and i merely copied the Rafale mod in that folder. Sorry, the second screenshot maybe confusing. The second screenshot is that of the default folders created by DCS, during the installation of the DCS on the external drive. I did add the aircraft folder there and had even copied the rafale mod on the C drive, but even still i get the same error Nope, does the rafale mod come by default with the core DCS installation?

Just to clarify, I have installed my DCS on an external drive (D:), and accordingly, following is the path: Since i chose the path while installation, it did not create a "savedgames" folder, however, it did create the "...Mods\Aircraft\" folder in which the aircraft i had bought (F-16C) also show up and also they work. Accordingly i have placed the rafale folder in the same folder, and still i get that error. Just so you know, when i installed the dcs on external drive, DCS still did create the following folder on my drive: So i even added a folder "aircrafts" and added this rafale folder there, but still it gave me the same error. Please help

HI Everyone, I am from Pune, India. I am planning to build a Rafale simpit with projectors for display. I would appreciate if anyone can guide me on how I can make this. Especially if I can get the drawings layout of the same. It become very costly to import a manufactured one due to the very high import duties imposed by the Indian Government. I did see a thread here about someone from France who was building one, but the links of facebook that he has provided do not exist. I have also seen the Warthog project videos and website, and it is a fantastic project. However he goes into making even the buttons himself, which I would like to buy off the shelf (Amazon) I am currently in the US for about a week, and i can buy some ready made stuff, especially instruments (I will be buying the Warthog control stick) , which I can take with me. Sorry for the long post, but just to summarize I am looking for: 1. Drawings for both the cockpit and the front and side panel 2. Any recommendations on what I can buy off the shelf here in the US which i can take back to India. Thanks in advance. Regards, Ajey
