I am not sure if I am having the same issue as described, but in mission 3 of the red flag campaign my wingman does not take off. He does follow me on taxi. But after tower (the f10 tower) clears me, I take off and he does not nothing. He’s 45 degrees on the runway and just sits there. He also blocks everyone behind. Strange enough, I switched to the 3 mission campaign (Hormuz) and I have the exact same issue. I am wondering if I do something wrong. I am using the f10 menu and on the right radio channels.

I just wanted to say thank you for the mirage campaign ! I really enjoyed it a lot and it’s very immersive. It ticks all the boxes. I just wish it was longer I would buy the mirage just for the campaign… ps: I only had 2 issues that were blocking. The awacs you need to delete (found info on the forum) and something with the landing tutorial. Not sure if that one was my fault or not, but something did not trigger correctly and I got 50 score and then just skipped it.

I also just disengaged and went home. No need to be a hero, better to fight another day The su33 are not a mission pass requirement.

I think something is wrong, but it’s not unplayable. From the voice scripting it seems that the 2 l39 should engage you and the other 2 should stay with the Antonov. That does not happen. When you close on the 2, the other 2 break of from and also engage. I was 1 vs 3 with 2 magics. I had to restart a few time because I managed to get 50% on my 530’s and when I merged with the remaining bogey, the other 2 are in missile range and start shooting R60’s. They even got me head-on and I was dumping flares. I then just fired my 530’s from distance and got lucky as well, both 530’s hit. I then turned away to put some distance from the other flight. By then Chevy 2 decided to engage and it was quickly over then.

I really never give money to companies for pre-orders. I did however pre-order the apache. And I did it just to support ED’s development. I will fly the thing once it comes out. But I did it because of all the results from the past, not for a promise of the future, therefor I don’t feel any disappointment. We buy 3080 rtx graphic cards, expensive peripherals, some even build complete simpits for this hobby. Spending many 1000’n of dollars Yet some people manage to feel robbed for a few dollar’s worth of miles or a few months delay. Nothing got cancelled here… I ordered a honeycomb bravo throttle in August 2020 and received it 8 months later. The product was already finished, it was just production issues. Let’s a keep a positive relationship with the ED software team and be grateful they want to make this software for us. Flightsim is a niche market. Many companies stopped doing it. It very complex to create and maintain for a low financial return. If you want people to perform at their best, you should do the same
