[Repair is done, and then helicopter breaks while settling down again]

I've had the same happening to me, i crash landed and my tail section broke off. I called for repair: the aircraft is lifted for repair, and the piece of broken tail section disappears visually.

When the aircraft is set down, the tail section breaks off, as the old piece of tail, which had disappear, seems to still be physically there.

unfortunately, i have to trackfile of this.

Just an idea for a fun mod:

I know a guy who can imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice perfectly; would be fun to change George's voice to Ahnold's :-).

 

Anyone knows if that is possible?

 

[No more indestructible trees]

Especially when flying helicopters against ground targets. When targets are shielded by trees and bushes, it's like they're inside a bunker. That + a ridiculous lack of splash damage + AI having X-ray vision to look through trees: destroys the idea of realism.

Aircraft is cold started, when as pilot, i try to was the missiles, IHADs displays "MSL type?" and the missile type is locked to SAL in wpn page (aircarft is armed with 16x Lima Hellfires).

Tried to change loadout, and the again back to 16x Lima's same result.

As you can see, there is a vertical bar in front of the SAL selection.

Hi , it's crazy, when it happened, and i could reproduce it, it was in MP. in SP it didn't happen, i'll try to reproduce it in MP over the weekend so i can give you a track.

I have encountered the following and it is easy to reproduce:

 

In flight, i jumped from the pilto seat to the CPG seat. I set my acq to GHS.

After some engagement, i return to the pilot seat. George wouldn't slave anymore.

I got back to the front seat, tried to go to wpn page, the ase on the LEFT mfd; I could se the wpn button the left mfd being activated constantly.

 

I accessed the wpn page on the right mfd, there no issue. There i set the acq back to PHS: no more issue; George slaved again!.

 

I re-tested this, the issue is reproducable.

Hi @Flappie: thank you so much. Problem is solved. I had some backing up software syncing to my nas (backing up my DCS saved games) which was stuck on syncing the KA-50 profile, and reserved acces to the file.

I started the game with VR disabled (to be able to record).

I start the game in single thread; when trying to change the VR zoom setting, the game starts loading all profiles, and gets stuck at KA50, and the game is then locked, need to CTRL-alt-del to close the game.

 

I already did a full repair. Is is the same in MT, with or without VR.

Now that George is able to store targets, it would be nice to have the possibility to call the list of saved targets on George command wheel. So we can tell him to e.g. target "target 3" from the list.

This would add value and usability for the ability for George to store targets

This could also be taken further; If George selected a stored target, as we ordered him, and he confirms the target is destroyed, he could just as well delete the target from the stored targets list. mimicking what a human CPG would do.

 

I know we can set a stored target as ACQ, and then have George look in that direction, but this is a big hassle and very little added value.

Sure it is corrupt, but i have multiple missions ending up corrupt.

this since the latest patch.

disc error is har to believe; mission are saved on my main NVME , where my OS and DCS are installed.

Just had it again: i make a small mission in the editor; saved it, then played it. When i hit escape, and choose "quit", i can then choose " mission editor" on the lext, or "fly again" on the right.

I choose "mission editor"; i end up in the editor, but in a blanc mission. WHen i try to load the previously saved mission, it' disappeared.

I just found the miz files in the mision folder, but the editor does not see them anymore. SO the files are probably corrupted for some reason.

This lovely mod does not pass integrety check anymore (thx ED).

and the opacity of the glass is still overdone and takes away colors of the outside textures; and there’s too mich glare (thx ED, and again thx ED)

The problem here is the saved auth that would allow you to continue is tied to a version number, and as it is an update to a new version number and you can not login the saved auth is not applying. It needs to be addressed for sure as it is a weak spot.
