  1. Whomever owns one, what do you think of it? Is it ultimately better once you get used to it? I would like to get it sooner rather than later if I decide to go that route so I won't have as much muscle memory relearning to achieve. I also have the monstertech chair mount and was wondering if the force required for this module would react adversely with my chair mount and cause issues. Any feedback would be appreciated!
  2. I would like to find a good group of guys to fly and hang out with. I have about 100 hours in the F16 and have a good handle on the basics. I wouldn't be able to hold a very regular schedule but would like to participate. I don't have any expectations but am willing to put in the effort to help out and learn. I am in the MST zone in Alberta, Canada.
  3. Is there a profile for the winwing F16 Orion2 HOTAS? I've searched but cannot seem to find anything.
  4. I believe I figured out what my issue is. The slider box and the invert box both need to be checked. Without having the slider box checked the brakes will be at 50% while at rest. The invert box changes the brakes to off instead of 100% when the pedal is not depressed. Hope this helps someone that is also having an issue.
  5. I just bought the TPR pedals and I am having this same issue. The left and right toe brakes seem to be inverted and this is confirmed with the Thrustmaster calibration software. When the pedals are in the disengaged position the software shows 100% and when pressed they go to zero. This is in direct conflict with the driver software that shows the opposite, as seen in the second image of the first post of this thread. I have done everything that was mentioned in various forums and threads on this site but nothing works. I've seen posts about inverting the axis in DCS but that also inverts the braking intensity and doesn't invert the axis in a way that works. You can see in the DCS screenshot that the pedal is maxed at full brake when not depressed. I have a message in to Thrustmaster support so hopefully I can get an answer there. If anyone has anything they can add it would be appreciated. This is quite an expensive boat anchor at the moment.
  6. I received my payment request email today as well. I was on the wait list approximately a month. I am having an issue trying to pay with paypal though. I've sent a message to winwing and hope I can get it sorted out. I'll post a screenshot in case anyone else has had this issue and knows what the problem is. *update* I couldn't check out with regular paypal, I had to use the credit card link. I expect there is an issue with their system.
  7. I placed my order on April 14th. I'm still waiting for the notification. Is anyone else still waiting? If so when did you place your order?
  8. Definitely talk to Winwing but it sounds like you have the same issue they had with the first batch and need a washer
  9. Thanks BitMaster, I've been fiddling around with my RAM settings and I think I have it running as fast as it will with the 4 chips. I took 2 out at first just to make sure that truly was the issue with them not being able to run at XMP settings and proved that theory correct. With 2 chips I can run them at 3600 but with 4 they default to 2100 and XMP doesn't work. I found another area in the BIOS that says "Memory Try It!" which is quite amusing to me but it works. There is a drop down menu of different speeds and timings. I ended up with one of the 3333 settings. I also found that this automatically adjusted the voltage to the maximum which it 1.400v. I suppose I should be happy with this but If I ever build a system again I will just max out the RAM with 2 chips. Thanks again for your help!
  10. Thanks for the info everyone. I will go ahead with the graphics card and power supply right now and see how it runs. Hopefully I can hold off on the others as funds are tight. I have noticed my RAM was running slow so I went into the bios and tried to run it at recommended overclock speeds but it wouldn't get up to what they had stated it should go to. I did some research and concluded this was because I was using 4 sticks instead of 2. That being said, I am running it faster than standard speeds so I suppose that is good enough for now. Cheers!
  11. Thanks for the in depth response LucShep. I do already have a secondary SSD for all my other files and programs. I keep all my DCS program files on my M.2 drive though because of its speed. I guess ultimately what I'm asking right now is if I only upgrade the video card at the moment, how do you think the system will respond? Will it work fine until my funds allow the other upgrades? When I watch the task manager it seems only the graphics is the weak point at the moment. Thanks again for the replies
  12. I just started playing the F16 module in DCS and absolutely love it. My PC was perfectly fine for all the other games I have been playing since I built it in 2020 but I am craving the experience that I'm missing by having to reduce the video settings. I play on my Samsung 65" 4K TV and therefore need more performance for the 4K screen. I am looking for input regarding an upgrade to the 3080 or 3080 ti. Is this worthwhile in my system or will I see other limitations with just swapping the video card and power supply? My specs are below. Thanks in advance! 13. I pre-ordered the F-16EX. Hopefully I will get a notification sooner rather than later. Will the email be from no-reply@wwsimstore.com or a different email. I don't want it to go to my spam folder and miss the 48 hour window.
