I went ahead and installed 5.5.1. Worked fine for me. Steps I took:

    1. Unplug USB cable from PC.
    2. Install 5.5.1 (straight over 5.4.2).
    3. Reinsert USB cable.
    4. Started TrackIR software: Working. All previous settings were retained.
    5. Started DCS: Flew some helos. Working fine.

  3. Make sure to put in an exception for the AV-8B_CPT.dll otherwise it will come back. I have had this issue for the last couple of days. Also, report the file to your AV provider so they can loot at it and report it as safe.

  4. Are there FOV settings on the server side?

One of my squad mates asked me this the other day.  "Do you have a FOV limit lock on your server? I was on there today and it puts my pilot head forward ie smaller FOV than I normally fly with."

He says it happens every time he connects, no matter the mission. Thanks in advance.

Or, instead of ‘cheating’ with bags you could try and be more conscious of the throttle position/ fuel flow/ airspeed 😉 - I never got below 2k in that mission and I’ve flown it a hundred times.

The key is to be gentle on the stick and rudders. Small inputs and see how the jet responds. You can practice it outside of the campaign too in a free flight mission.

Hey man, I never claimed to be the best Tomcat pilot, LOL! I've had the mod since it came out, just don't fly it because I'm too busy in the Hornet.

    Landed with 600lbs fuel!!!

I hear you on the fuel piece. The first time I tried it I just ran the stock load out and ran out of gas halfway through it. The second time I put on two bags and loaded up with as much fuel as I could carry and ran out of gas in the break.  So not really sure what to say.

  7. There is only one mission that requires you to switch to the tower, I'm not saying which. The only time you ever need to switch channels is when you get the dialog box that says to switch to "Insert Channel" on " Insert radio" and press SPACE BAR. If you don't get the box that says to do that in the upper right corner, you don't need to mess with your radios.
