Any updates on this?

I keep getting the thunderstorm call and failing this mission. Kept the radar off, knob on standby, until way past waypoint 3. Stayed in formation with the S-3, getting the thunderstorm call when I climb to 2500 feet (with the formation, not on my own) at waypoint 4.

Looks like the mission isn't set up right to enable the Ka-50 to talk to the GNSS/GPS satellites- every mission I have a NAV ERROR message on the ABRIS and it's moving map doesn't work, I have to purely rely on the INS. Any chance of a fix?

Oohhhh... that's probably it. I in fact didn't not press the space bar. Was looking at the coordinates to make the reference waypoint and then got distracted and forgot about it. Was only the one attempt. Will try again and report back, thanks.

No mods apart from the echo 19 sound mods. I didn't have the TGP on the Blackjack when I got the message, I was in the middle of a 180 turn reversal so it was temporarily blanked out as I was repositioning. Looking at the tacview, it looks like it just completely disappears shortly after landing, no messages about damage/death.

Hello- Loving the campaign so far, tons of nice immersive details. I'm struggling with the last part of mission 3. Took off, found and escorted the Blackjack south, it sped off in afterburner. I then get told to scout out the russian airbase from standoff distance off the coast. I head south, 20 miles off the coast, get below the clouds, look around with the T-pod. See the Blackjack come in to land. Staying around 20 miles from the airbase due west, occasionally I get a SAM lock on me as a warning and I turn back, no launches. Right after the Blackjack lands, I got a mission failed message...... not sure why? I might have crossed the 20nm limit by a little bit, but at no point was I closer than 19-19.5nm from the waypoint at the airbase. Sometimes it can be difficult to judge distance from geographic features because the HSI map only shows up on 10nm scale on the Syria map. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is that 20nm a hard limit, and if I cross I fail? I feel like there should be better guidance about what I'm supposed to do and what I'm doing wrong. Thanks

I landed at the airbase, at spot 12 as directed. Was then told we're early and to loiter... and kept waiting. Nothing happened, no trigger fired. The Il-76 got stuck like this, is the mission waiting for it to park? It seems it makes the wrong turn and gets stuck by the vehicles.

Just tried this mission today. The cloud cover is a huge immersion breaker. Not because it makes it more difficult, but because it doesn't fit with what Davy is telling us. He is orbiting acting as FAC-A and pointing out targets and threats, whereas I can't see anything unless I head off a few miles to the south and get to low altitude. If you're going to have this narrative of us being able to see the target, then let us see the target. If the target is supposed to be covered with clouds, Davy shouldn't be able to identify individual manpads from above the cloud deck. The whole thing doesn't make sense and makes it seem like a mistake in the mission design.
