  1. LockOn Greece | DCS World Greece and Joint Air Task Force (JATF) are launching their massive Iniochos campaign in the map of Syria. In a 30v30 environment, Red and Blue side fight over a vast territory. Jets, helicopters, naval assets, AWACS, ground commanders, ATC/GCI and human JTACs are in place for victory. Both sides will have a preset battlefield. Red side will operate with F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, MiG-29S, Su-27, J-11 and JF-17 along with CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8 and Mi-24P while Blue will have F-16, F-18, F-15E, F-14B, AV-8B, A-10C II, AH-64D, OH-58D, CH-47F, UH-1H, Mi-8, Mi-24P and KA-50 III. Helicopters on both sides can make use of the Dynamic Cargo to resupply bases with ammunition while Blue will have a CTLD capability for limited unit deployment. Ground commanders can move and operate all ground and naval assets as well as MQ-9 Reaper drones for recon purposes and mark targets on the F10 map for strike packages. CSAR option is available via DML scripts. Be aware, things on the battlefield might change as the scenario unfolds.

  11. PvE Modern Caucasus edited by Granpa (Flying Donkeys) The U.S. forces currently deployed in the area are limited in number, and therefore will have to contain any potential Russian attack as much as possible. Satellite imagery confirms that six TU-160 strategic bombers have taken off carrying a payload of KH-65 cruise missiles. It is assessed that their likely target is the Kutaisi military airbase, believed to host the bulk of the Georgian Air Force as well as major military stockpiles. As a result, a portion of the available air assets will be assigned to the air defense of this airbase, given that the ground-based air defense systems are still awaiting activation. Simultaneously, we have identified a Russian forward operating base (FOB) in the vicinity of Beslan, with a significant deployment of ground forces. Strategic objectives have been identified north of the border, including power plants and command posts. However, we cannot authorize offensive operations until the Russian aircraft launch their cruise missiles. We must avoid providing the Russians with a pretext to initiate a full-scale assault. A portion of the Georgian Air Force will support border defense operations using MiG-29 fighters and two helicopters, which are tasked with targeting an advanced command post within the city of Beslan. Additionally, U.S. Marine forces are present within the operational area, tasked with destroying bridges and railway stations to delay Russian logistics as much as possible. The CVN-71 USS Roosevelt carrier group is also deployed in the area, providing F-14 air cover in the event of engagement with Russian air forces.

  14. On 24th March 2025, the JATF community celebrated the fifth year since its foundation. For the occasion, an air show was organised on the beaches of Dubai. The event was attended as guest of honour by Andrei Celeste, the well-known voice of On The Spot News, who presented the air show from the stage next to the grandstands. _ Unfortunately, the event was interrupted by a serious act of terrorism. An unmanned, experimental Boeing A380 was hacked by a terrorist group, intending to fly it into the Burj Al Arab Tower in Dubai and cause hundreds of deaths. Two F16s scrambling, managed to shoot it down just in time right in front of the beach where the JATF air show was taking place. All pilots on the beach were immediately recalled to their base in Al Minhab. The order was to get into the cockpit and follow instructions from the tower. Dozens of aircraft took to the air and sent to holding points around the base to await instructions. Within 10 minutes, all squadrons were contacted by human agencies who guided them to various targets targeted by terrorist forces. The whole operation lasted about two hours and almost all the pilots returned to base unharmed and above all................... very, very happy _ We would like to thank Andrei Celeste who has been an outstanding host for the JATF community and above all a fantastic presenter of air shows.
