Nah I just slotted on a MP server. The unit I spawned in before was working fine. And the one when I re-slotted was fine too. so weird.

Is this a game error or something happening intentionally? What exactly is happening or causing this behavior?

Does anyone have etching drawings or 3D models pertaining to the KA50 cockpit panels ?

Is there a file somwhere that shows the layout of the cockpit instruments panel by panel? Some 3D drawing maybe? Can someone show me where to find and how to open them?

It seems since one can connect external devices to DCS using DCS BIOS it should be possible to log the in-game values to a log file while flying. Can someone point me to the direction how to do this? I am only starting with building cockpits and am a noob. I have just tried building an Autopilot USB box for the KA50 bs3. Thanks

Hi Is it possible to customise the column width of columns in the "Choice of roles" window upon mission start? Is it possible to hide some columns from this role selection menu? I dont really need the Task|TailNo|Unit|Role columns I would love to hide them. Thx

oh the interval can be +/- x meter? I think negative interval doesn't work. they start doing funny business on their own. HAHA. like breaking the chain and then circling each other. I leave it at +meter interval. Thanks for your help!~

Yes I know there are formation presets. But there is no way to customize a new formation? Maybe through some LUA file somewhere? I want to have a staggered trailing formation preset. The "follow" option only allows for setting distance and elevation but not the angle to the chalk infront. It also looks weird I cannot select a unit in the Follow settings.

I am trying to create a custom formation in DCS. In the manual it says it's possible through the 'Create Templates' function. But I dont see how. It seems its not possible. Can someone advise on how to create one? I am flying the ka50 and there are only 4 formations available. I want to create more. Tx

Yep I got it to work. Above 20Deg and it won't light up anything. Below and it wont either. It's quite tricky. Landing and taxing on the runway at pitch black is extremely difficult. The Landing Light doesn't light up in front enough either to see the runway from the cockpit. How do you guys do this?

@Flappie oh thanks. Does it have to be helicopter pitch angle 10-15Deg or the rocket pitch when launched? It seems the rocket drops a few degrees when launched. Also does it need to be exactly within 10-15Deg? or is >10Deg enough? ie. 10 < Angle of Rocket Launch < 15. or Angle >10 ?

The rockets are launchable but there is no illumination.

Haha. yeah! this is the last resort. But navigating in the cockpit using X,Y,Z is hard. Another idea I had was to look for a training mission where this is used and see what code it is using once you unpack the training mission.
