  1. Updated to 1.33 for my PCL, tested Pimax OpenXR vs SteamVR. SteamVR has much less latency and frametimes than running through Pimax. SteamVR is much smoother at the same FPS. Only issue is now that switching between the 2 deleted my SteamVR boundaries and now they won't save, so every time I turn on the headset, I have to redo them. If anyone knows a way to save them, I'm all ears. For those that are staying on 1.30 I wish I'd done the same.
  2. We need more Navy vessels to fill our missions. With a lot of focus on the Cold War era, imagine flying your Phantom and underneath you see an Iowa class battleship turning it's turrets and firing. Or you're in your Warbird, and you see the Bismarck or Tirpitz. Pacific fleets, U.S. and Empire of Japan. Just watched a video on YouTube by HIP, that there's 18 modules being worked on. I'd like to see more work done on asset packs. I'll buy a $30 WW2 Pacific asset pack. I'll buy a $30 Cold War asset pack. I'll buy a $30 modern asset pack. I'll buy a $30 dollar airfield pack akin to Super Carrier. I will NOT buy every one of the 18 modules in development. We have so many planes and helos to fly, and maps to fly on, and I'm excited for some of the ones that are coming. But I personally would love to see more stuff that makes the world we fly in better, more diverse, complete, interactive as far as ATC goes, etc. Anyway my $0.02
  3. Very simple wish list. F-14B(U) built from the ground up using F-4E techniques (Jester 2.0, Crew Chief, Aircraft Systems, Graphics, etc) for full price $80 F-14D same as F-14B(U) Graphical update to F-14A/B (especially cockpit lighting in VR, F-4E is MUCH prettier) akin to A-10C II and Black Shark 3 for $25-$50
  4. My friend and I have started a group, called the Flying Lions. We fly anything pre-FBW. Warbirds, Cold War jets, etc. We fly Sunday evenings from 19:00/20:00 till about midnight Eastern time. I've made a few sandboxes depicting each era. A WW2 sandbox on Normandy, a Vietnam sandbox on Kola, late 80's on Syria, and soon I'll start one on Afghanistan. We fly mainly warbirds (P-47 and 51, Mosquito, occasionally the Germans too, and the Corsair and Hellcat will be day 1 purchases) and Cold War jets (F-4E, F-5, F-14) and so on. Everything is very casual, if you can make it, great, if you can't, oh well stuff happens. No mandatory training days, no mandatory attendance record. When you want to fly on a Sunday evening, we're there. Sometimes we'll do WW2, then Vietnam, sometimes the other way around, sometimes we'll just stick to one era entirely. All depends on how we feel about the evening. So if you're interested, you're an adult, your experience level doesn't matter but we do ask you take it semi-seriously, then head on over and introduce yourself. Any questions will be promptly answered. https://discord.gg/DKNruWXsCX
  5. Mirrors on/off and easy communication settings won't save. Revert back every time the game is closed.
  6. Flying the Tomcat 95% of the time during my DCS career. The Phantom was some getting used to. I did about 15 touch and go's tonight, and made a bit of a breakthrough. Instead of setting trim and riding it down to the ground like you would the Tomcat, the earlier advice of setting trim a bit lower, and hand flying it onto the runway worked wonders for me. I set trim to 15 units, flying 180 kts on the downwind, rolled into the groove with the rudders and used pitch to control my AOA made Jester VERY happy. Got a lot of nice compliments. Thank you very much for the advice guys.
