They should work as well. At least in most cases. Sometime an adapter/rack is used for a weapons and that can complicate things. Make sure all commas and brackets are correct. But yes, it can take a bit of trial and error and sometimes thing will not work

You can open/edit lua files with note pad but many recommend notepad++

That should be possible. Open the aircraft lua file of each plane and take a look. You will see the code for the "pylons" and the the code for each weapon. Then copy and paste the weapons you want. Do keep in mind these are core game files and your "mod" will be undone with each up. BUT DCS should move you modded files to a back up folder so to restore you mod after an update you shouldn't have to start from scratch. But back up you original files first and good luck.

There is a Mig-17 in the VWV mod that is coming along nicely. But yes, the CWA mod will be nice with the Germany map. And any new assets Tripod can come up with

Thank you. And yes I will be redoing the hatch animations at some point and I will included the rear hatch Unfortunately the way the current version is coded it is impossible to to add gear or get it to operate on land. -

There is. I know what it is, I just have to figure out how to do it now.. Thank you and please stand by......... Planning on including the 2nd unfinished "Rescue" variant in the next update once I fix the texture issue. -

There is one catch. I've not resolved the texture conflict with the "Cold War Asset Mod". I have identified the problem and hope to have fixed soon. So for early access you have 3 options; 1. Remove the CWA mod. Not the best option I know. 2 Use included "fix" texture B-29.zip that only "breaks" CWA TU-4 and Tu-16 in CWA Mod(they will have missing textures) (Please read the read me file) 3 Keep full CWA mod and ignore funky Lun Class textures. Adding livery helps a bit. So if you can manage one of those options here's the current state of the Mod. All weapons work. Although aft turret may have tracking issues. Model animations are a bit crude. Only weapons are animated. No flight surfaces or engines yet. Wake effect not quite right. No engine exhaust. Can be sunk but there are no damage textures. Fire/smoke effects may sometimes be out of position. 3 units MD-160, MD-161 and MD-162. No in "game differences" other than unit names. For testing/development. ME list names start with "Project 903". Only available to Russia, I might have added "USSR" Livery folders are setup but no liveries are included yet. All unit use default textures. (Only MD-160 has Texture file added to livery folder) Simple but IMPORTANT "How to pilot an ekranoplan" read me file included. Hey TeTeT, Hope you are well and congrats on all the MOD progress. At some point I'll get back on discord and see what I can contribute. I still need to see how you guys sorted out the carrier stuff for the A-1.
