Not if you are going to get very serious in DCS. It doesn't have enough hats. I had it for about 6 months, bit the bullet, got the warthog hotas, and have never looked back. I had to make most of the throttle button switches to make the one hat on the stick act as DMS TMS COOLIE SLEW and that left most throttle stuff done on the keyboard. very hard while trying to fly combat missions.

I bought the t-flight hotas X and have instant buyers remorse. I have used almost all of the throttles buttons to act as switches so I can use the only hat on the joystick for DMS TMS COOLIE CMS CHINA BOAT SLEW so I have to use the keyboard for things like gear and flaps. Also no two stage trigger so another button on the throttle for single stage and trigger for second stage. Now I am trying to commit that to muscle memory. I think for my birthday I am going to get a better hotas and then relearn it all again.

So I went back to this topic to check for the solution button and it is still not showing. I just wanted you to know I tried

I have done a few google search's and not finding anything. Is there a company that sells keycaps for the A10C? I have been thinking about color coding some of my key for fast reference.

OMG you are my hero!!!! I stopped messing with the setting last night and wanted to fly. I got in the A10C and on my third attempt I was able to put it down nice and gentile but the tutorial on landing seemed to stop after I touched down with no instruction I recall on how to stop LMAO I was trying W for wheel brake and looking for something to stop me lol. I rolled right off the into a barrier. I was so happy to have landed tho! This game is going to be fun. I can't wait to get off work and get those mapping done!!! Thank you again!!!!!

Can you use a button on the throttle to change that the little joystick does on the stick? (coolie hat) It looks like by default DCS picks is as the trim controls wich I like. I would also like to use that for slewing, so could I say hold a button and then the coolie will do this and click another button and coolie will go back to trim? I am struggling getting the hotas setup and haven't even flown much.

I have an old Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-52V5100 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV do you think this will work with DCS? I am going to try it tonight when I get home from work but wanted to know before moving it is it worth the effort. It weighs 67 pounds and is upstairs from my gaming room!
