  1. Just to chime in, also got a 4 Core CPU (i5-4690k) and after weeks of trying so many settings and "solutions", this actually fixes the freezes and stuttering for me and transforms 2.9 from unplayable to almost as smooth as 2.8 was. Thanks for posting this!
  2. Rolled back to the 532.03 Nvidia drivers because I read the new drivers might also cause stutters, but also tested the game with 537.58 and the recent 546.29 drivers. No noticable difference between the three versions. dcs.log DxDiag.txt
  3. Got an i5 4690k (4 cores / 4 threads), 32GB Ram, RTX 3050, Windows 10.
  4. This is really frustrating. 2.8 MT ran perfect, even on my fairly old CPU. Smooth even in Multiplayer and complex SP Missions like "Through the Inferno". Since 2.9 the game has become unplayable for me. Frequent stutters and freezes up to 2-3 seconds even when sitting alone on a map in a cold & dark cockpit. Tried every possible setting ingame, new drivers, that core unparking fix, the mt.lua, you name it, nothing made a difference at all. Was really looking forward to the F-4, but that purchase is on hold for me for now. Almost 2 month and 3 patches since 2.9. I still really really hope this gets fixed, having to wait and not being able to play is just so frustrating...
  5. I have a similar CPU, i5 4690k (4 Cores/4Threads), and 2.9 made the game unplayable for me too (in MT that is, starting the ST version, and the freezes are gone). No Mods installed at all. Tried the "core unparking" fix suggested in other threads, made no difference. Lowered all settings, but that didn't help either. 2.8 MT ran very smooth at capped 60 fps on my system.
  6. Thanks, that worked! Just did this and the "Normandy 1944" license was replaced with a 2nd "2.0" one.
  7. I know. I bought the "Upgrade from Channel" Version , transfered license to standalone. "Normandy 2.0" shows up under account/licenses, but the module manager is only downloading and installing the low-resolution "Normandy 1944" version, not the 2.0 one. Seems to be some sort of license problem. Sure they'll fix it in the next few days.
  8. Exactly the same here.
  9. Only own the Channel map too. I bought this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2404030/DCS_Normandy_20_Upgrade_from_The_Channel/ No idea if it's really the enhanced version I'm installing, since module manager only showed "Normandy 1944", not 2.0. Still downloading, we'll see in an hour. Edit: ok, downloaded the map. It's the low-resolution version. Allthough I have the 2.0 license (after transfer from steam) in my account, the map the module manager installed is clearly the old one.
  10. Thanks for the reply! Seemed a bit strange at first, that the aircraft spawns with that much up elevator and that you have to trim it all the way back down everytime to get a level flight, but if this is normal behaviour, I can stop worrying that something is wrong with my installation/controllers and get back to enjoying the module.
  11. Hi. I've bought the F1 a few days ago and while it's very quickly becoming one of my favorite modules, I have the same "pitch-trim-problem". When I spawn into the plane (CE or EE, cold or hot, doesn't matter) there's already a huge amount of pitch trim aplied (also visible on the F2 external view) although the trim indicator shows the pitch is leveled (pic 1). If I trim the pitch back to the center, the pitch indicator moves off center (pic 2). Same thing for me unless I "trim" the pitch back to center. Using a Warthog Stick & Throttle.
