Bumping this thread to make sure it stays current on the bug report forum. Still a major issue, especially when coupled with the Level-of-Detail range for missile trails. If yall need any hard data on this, please give the word.

Just chiming in with similar issue as Mesha44. While buddy lasing for extended period, and with long duration lasing (30sec - ~2min), the laser will start to act up. In particular it will activate for a couple seconds (L indicator on TGP screen blinks 3 - 4 times) then automatically deactivates. Happened more than once. Edit: Ah, woops. Didn't realize this post was in the AV-8 forums. I'm having this issue in the A-10C.

sze5003: I'm only replying with this because you mentioned "bottom right" for sim mode, and you might be looking in the wrong area. If you're at the main menu, click the gear at the top "Options", at the next screen, click the Gameplay tab, top left options for difficulties... Game Flight mode and Game avionic mode. Those need to be unchecked. Otherwise, you may be referring to the "slow" trim issue...Where it works, but it works slowly.

Possible solution here! This thread's gone a little off... but for anyone having issues with aircraft performance: trim not functional, airspeed is slow to rise, etc. --> Disable Game Flight mode. I use Game Flight mode for the Huey when I play singleplayer, looks like I forgot to turn it off. Disabled it and took the Hornet out for spin, she's working perfectly.

Vandal, do you have "Game" avionics or flight model enabled? Jumping into multiplayer cleared up all of those issues for me. And I haven't been offline yet to check my settings.

Yep, I'm seeing that it takes a bit of holding it down. But in singeplayer, it wasn't working at all. As well as those other issues I mentioned. I'll have to look, maybe I had Game mode enabled? Anyways, multiplayer vs singleplayer is night and day difference in performance and handling of the aircraft.

I'm also having this issue. Running the Warthog stick. Trim isn't working. Additionally, I'm having some other strange behavior with the aircraft. Elevons getting stuck at high angles of deflection, and performance issues with engines, brakes, and airbrake. Everything just seems sluggish. Touched down earlier and holding W the aircraft didn't stop. She slowed down, but she never stopped. Airbrake doesn't seem to have much impact either; approx. 1kt/sec deceleration flying straight and level, engines at idle. Thinking I may have a corrupt install.
