  1. How do you do your mission planning?

    1. How do you get your flight plan? Do you keep everything in your mind? Or do you write down on a piece of paper all waypoints, headings, altitudes and so on?

    2. How do you save the mission data in the Debriefing Panel after flight for fürther discussion, analyzing AFTER LOCK ON SERVER IS SHUT DOWN?

@ED: do you plan some export functionality? Shold be very easy to export the data to a simple text file. And would be VERY helpful.

(I think: writing down the details at a piece of paper with my ballpen is very stone age like ...)

  2. ED should fix ALL the Bugs in v1.1 first

Stay on the ground, my friend ;)

Surely we wish "our" piece of software without bugs and it is very disappointing to encounter a bug during the game.

Let me tell you as a programmer: the fact is: software in general, especially such a complex product like lock on, cannot be error free by definition.

Even if they would try to fix ALL BUGS, you would not get it in a hundred years.

So we should stay realistic and ask for corrections of serious bugs.

(I know: what does serious mean...).

But I think the idea is clear.

And I agree with you: AFM for the existing planes is my personal no. 1 priority (as I stated several times).

  3. If you want to use your saitek button assingments (which you should do) so you have to delete all key assignments in lomac. It's an awful work, I know. But after a quarter of an hour it will be done and you can use the buttons of your own profile.

(I used the X-45 since last week)

  4. I didn't mean to collect all possible spots in one file. I thought, that you could prepare that file before an online mission with the spots you will need there (your waypoints, your airfield, near airfields and so on).

During the Mission: how will you get (in a short time during flight) the coordinates out of the map and in the bullseye system?

But it was just a suggestion. Maybe not even worth to discuss any longer ;-)

  5. No chance to bring up the "old" machines to the new flight model?

So I have to cancel my Post in which I stated that I will buy every release (just for supporting Ed's team). I have now even to think about buying Version 1.2.

So for all future, in Squad games some pilots will fly "really" modeled Su-25T's, and the rest of the community will fly arcade like machines, like A-10, F-10 and so on?....

  6. Nice work. Thank You.

btw. Last year I put together hundreds of screenshots to get a complete map (not the geographical, the other type with roads and theese stuff). It's in Photoshop format. But difficult to handle (maybe 3 by 4 meters in size, if you print it), because when you shrink it, all the roads and fine details will disappear...

But if anyone is interested in it, tell me and I will upload it.

  7. @Fox: I have a suggestion: instead (or beside) of typing in the coordinates, do you think it is possible to read in a file with format: <description><Lat.><Long> and display that in your Bullseye Origin list?

So you don't have to "hard code" for example the "Mt. Cougar" and the community can write a list of airbases, mountains and so on which will be selectable in the system.

  8. I'm again looking at the original Flight Charts. To navigate with NAV beside the (predefined waypoints) is not possible. So we are not able to fly in a realistic manner with that charts. It makes me really unhappy, that we do not have the possibility to adjust the NAV during flight.

The NAV system ist always realised: waypoints on the map are handled in a correct manner.

PLEASE give us the possibility to change the waypoints or switch them off and adjust NAV manually on board, means during flight. We don't need (now ;-)) the whole FMC.
