yeah thats what it is. i tried gpu-z on it and its only using one core. and only 60 percent of that one. probably not using any of the other gig of graphics memory either. I dont think you can tell with ati cards how much is being used anyway. nothing like having a ferrari running on 6 cylinders hehe.

i tried those settings as well no difference. ~20fps is what im getting at the start of the landing tutorial. 5970, i7 920, 9gb ram. 5760x1080 is the resolution im running 1 screen full screen. tried with/without hdr and tsaa not running msaa at all. doesnt seem to make a difference. everything else is on high. shadows on low. civ traffic off. i have been able to get most of the hud in by adjusting my seat height in the cockpit.

use all_directx_buttons MIX 3 , ^ / MIY 3 . ^ ; RNG 1 6 KP* KP/ ANT 1 6 KP8 KP2 just use x y and z axis in ccp for pitch roll and throttle. above is the tmj im using. just assign all the buttons to whatever you want in the sim. the mix miy is the microstick slew. using the rng and ant rotaries for cockpit zoom and up and down until i get a track ir. i need to work on those some more but they work okay for now. i tried using target but gave up. besides it doesnt load the cougar like the old software does.

ive had mine for about a year. still looks new use it all the time. go ahead and get all the accessories for it if you get one. i finally upgraded to 3 24" monitors dont get anything bigger than that unless you wanna wear sunscreen while you work/play. takes only a minute or so to switch from flight to simracing to work. ive yet to find anything that is half is good for twice or more the price.
