  1. I've got this same problem. I've tried adjusting it to where the tension was just enough to keep the weight of the throttle handles from moving the throttles. Still gets stuck. After staying in the same position for about ten to fifteen seconds the resistance is light enough to push through without a lurch. But, after about thirty seconds it creates enough resistance that it lurches after finally releasing. After about a minute or two it almost won't move without a significant amount of pressure. Which, for older aircraft, like the Mustang, having the RPMs suddenly jump makes the aircraft unstable at takeoff. Once it breaks loose it's really smooth. There is a flaw in the design. I haven't had this problem since the Saitek sticks wearing out on the shaft and creating stiction. I wonder if creating a custom larger base and just using a lower/downward extension and counter weight with bearings for the pivot point will solve it. Might be a fun project. The other thing I noticed that I'm not crazy about is the sliders having so little resistance.
  2. CH-53 and MH-6 are on my list to see come to DCS World. UH-60 and AH-1 are on it too but we know where ED is on these from Wags interviews. Not that we don't have some great helos to fly already. At this point I'm just being a nerd like a Pokemon collector and want to collect them all. It's as bad as my RaceRoom addiction.
  3. Since ED hasn't chimed in all these years, I'm guessing with how the engine handles the HUD and HMD overlay, that it's not possible or would take more work to happen than what more important tasks ED is working on need. The resolution of VR, even the Pimax Crystal, just isn't the same as three screens at 4K each since a part of the image in VR headsets is stereoscopic overlap. When I can get the equivalent of horizontal 11,520 pixels, with 190 degree total FOV, with 120 degree stereopsis FOV and perfected passthrough for cockpits, then I'll ditch my triple screens. Until then, I'll use triple screen or quintuple screen possibly in the future. Since that's likely a more niche setup than VR users, I'm suspecting we'll never see the HUD and HMD overlay system overhauled for triple screen. Just the limited features of triple screen in the sim so far says it's a side thing added with no real tuning features from within the game. Look at RF2, RaceRoom, AMS 2 and ACC triple screen support. They all have various features to calculate each screen's size, position (distance, horizontal and vertical) and/or angle relative to the user's eye line. I seriously don't understand why all PC games, like ARMA series, DCS World and many other first person based games don't have triple screen support or proper support. That was always the draw of PC gaming, that it was doing things that consoles wouldn't. Hopefully we can see some development on better multiscreen support in the future. But, I'm not counting on it. Especially with video card price hikes possibly ending the PC games golden age.
  4. Thanks! I'll see how long the damper lasts that I found on AliExpress. It's a cheaper one so it will likely fail at some point. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806677578333.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.36f11802M8vYq7&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
  5. I bought most of the parts I need but went with everything black and a different damper. I can see where you used most of the parts except one. Where did you use the #10 aluminum sleeve?
  6. I purchased Immersive LCD Pro and created a profile for my screen setup and distance from screens. I'll see how that goes when I finish downloading my modules. I kept getting the black screen when launching and tried everything to fix it. In the end, I think deleting anything with "DCS" in the filename from my Appdata folder fixed it. I copied the screen profile .ULA that LCD Pro created over to DCS and it loaded fine. Immersive LCD Pro supports up to six screens with the Pro license. Hopefully this fixes the lack of in game or utility setup for multi-screen setup in DCS World.
  7. Obviously DCS World uses three virtual cameras for three screen setup for triple screen. Why are there not features allowing the user to adjust the cameras relative to the center camera? The user being able to adjust these with six degrees of freedom would help with side screens that aren't exactly 40 degrees from center. What if a user has a cube type setup with the side monitors at 90 degrees from center? I have three 55" screens so I could do a cube setup easily and be comfortable. It seems odd that after all these years, a PC flight sim game still doesn't have proper triple screen support. The game clearly knows the position and orientation of each virtual camera so why not unlock the control of those to the user? So my request is proper triple screen support.
