  1. Mandatory I am new to game. I just spent the last few hrs trying to launch some LR missiles with no success, couldn't get launch authorization. After some experimentation I found that even if the tv system could aim at it, I would need to angle the plane closer to the target to get launch authorization, but then I could level off and the LR would still hit. The fact that I need to point the aircraft more towards the target made me think that the laser designator has a more limited angle of operation than the TV system, which fair enough but its unclear exactly what that angle is, but then, the fact that I could level off and the missiles would still hit fine means that the laser obviously must have that extra angle. So what exactly is going her?. Can I assume the laser designator has the same cone of operation as the tv system? And if so is there some angular cone your plane must point in to be able to launch LR missiles which is less than the angle of operation of the tv system? I didn't seem to have this problem with TV guided missiles which makes me think the theory for angular cone for missile firing is wrong (except for one missile that is labeled as "I" in the hud from the practice mission which has a fairly obvious circle you must point your aircraft in to fire it). But I can't seem to find any information on this (given I might be looking in the wrong places or searching for it wrong). Any information or direction as to where I can find this info is appreciated.
