  1. @slughead, I tested the SlugMouse functionality this afternoon while practising with Mavericks, end result is I can most definitely 100% recommend purchasing them. After months of frustration with the Pimax Hand Tracking Module I put it in the drawer today and uninstalled the UltraLeap Software - will be selling off the Pimax HTM as it's no longer required. Using the left hand SlugMouse with my hand on the throttle at all times gave me full cockpit control of any switch, push button and dial. I moved the mouse cursor [if it was on the other side of the cockpit] with my trackball to get into the general vicinity of the switch, then simply moved my head to position the cursor on the relevant switch. Super quick, intuitive and accurate when using the 4-way hat switch. My 2 cents worth
  2. My experience with Pimax is tethered with frustration. The in game display quality is great, quad view foveated rendering is awesome, their software [to me] is <profanity>]. I have lost countless hours working thru the HTM connectivity [will it work today, maybe yes, maybe no]. Just over it, am moving on. Trusting/hoping the Pimax Crystal will work for the next 12 months or so, then look at what is on offer at that stage with other brands. Definitely [based on current software performance] not looking at Pimax for the next purchase. Will be putting the HTM up for sale to recoup some of my investment.
  3. More testing today, the SlugMouse[mice] are working perfectly - really happy with the build quality and blue-tooth connectivity and control functions. The Pimax Hand Tracking Module tracking implementation in DCS is just not great, have persevered for quite a few months with the HTM - it's just not there. Lost many, many hours frigging around with their drivers, etc and it's just not doable for me in cockpit. My own personal end game is using the Slug Mouse for mouse click and scrolling in cockpit along with a bit of mouse/trackball help - works really, really well that way with no headaches. Kinda happy to say goodbye to the Pimax HTM, interested to see what can be provided by VR headset manufacturers in the future.
  4. Thanks @slughead, I did miss the HTCC guide. Have spent the lost couple of hours stepping thru the guide from Getting Started thru to DCS game setup. While the mouse clicks work, I can only get the in cockpit cursor to move by turning my head, moving the left and right hand slugmice in front of the Pimax Crystal hand tracking module with the IR170 camera provides no cursor movement. I've screen shotted the settings I think are relevant, would appreciate a quick review to see if I have selected any incorrect options. NOTE: I have also enabled the HTCC workarounds as well with no success.
  5. Received my order yesterday, have to say the build quality is exceptional - thanks @slughead Bluetooth pairing is working well, just needed to connect the external blue tooth antenna to the motherboard. Mouse clicks are working inside DCS, cursor moves with my head movement however moving the hand with slug mouse provides no cursor movement. Would love some guidance on this. That apart the mouse click and scrolling is bloody brilliant on the controls in the cockpit, super fast and responsive.

    Hand Tracking

Have the Pimax HTM for a couple of months, frustrating getting the USB drivers to work correctly. Many hours of testing and I can get the HTM to be recognised by WIN11 and work correctly, in game [DCS] tactile response is lacking. Have ordered a SlugMouse kit to see if that will provide good in-game control - looks like it should eliminate need for gloves [with low tactile control] in the cockpit. Getting the kit in a week or so, will provide feedback.
  7. No heat, no additional weight noticed. USB driver implementation is <profanity>, lost countless hours getting it to recognise the HTD hardware. Have it sorted now, I have a specific boot up sequence that ensures it is recognised by Win11. That's about it.
  8. I think I might have grabbed one of the last units in stock, only received it a couple of months ago.
  9. Yes, using the Pimax Crystal with the Pimax Hand Tracking Module which uses the SIR170 and Gemini drivers.
  10. Order placed, really looking forward to trying Slug Mouse out with the Crystal - was getting a bit frustrated with the in cockpit gloves on the weekend.
  11. Dropped into a local jewellers, measurement below: Left index finger: V = 63.75mm Right index finger: Z = 68.75mm Didn't realise my right finger was so different. Test ring fitting was slightly snug but allowed for twisting the ring. Was middle of the day in winter here, so hands were a bit cold, in your experience for gaming indoors when the room is warm I would add a bit more to each ring size?
  12. Thanks for getting back to me, I will be turning off the gloves as they will get in the way. I'll get my finger ring sizes and get in touch to place an order. In Australia so ring sizing in millimetres is ok?
  13. Hi @slughead, I have the Pimax Crystal with the Pimax Hand Tracking Module, just confirming I need to install HTCC and the SlugMouse will provide full mouse control? I've found in cockpit the visualised gloves are more of a hinderance. To place an order do I PM you here or elsewhere. Thanks.
