No FFB here. I think I could use FFB on the base, but I don't have any of the equipment to do so (winwing). I'm wondering if it's not a right wing flap failure to extend? But even if so, it's not correlated to visuals on the model, and doesn't go away when you raise flaps.

I set custom FoV ("zoom normal") on most aircraft, and I also set "Custom Snap View 5" for looking down the gunsight. Over the last year (give or take) I have had a hell of a time with multiple installs of the game on multiple computers with it saving those settings between load ins. This never used to be a problem, but since 2.9.something it's really been frustrating basically having to reset this weekly or every few days.

Unfortunately I did a cleanup that wiped my screenshots and track files. I will spend some time to try to replicate this and post a track file. What happens to me occasionally is a baked in hard right roll. At first I thought it was a stall related to carrier take off, but it even happens with very light overall weight, and follow the same procedure with the same loadout back to back produces a very easy takeoff at the same indicated air speed. The thing that solidified this for me was an instant action free flight in which I immediately rolled right upon start. The stick was visually centered, the ailerons were visually centered on the wing, the trim was centered but the plane was rolling hard right. Eventually I was able to trim it out using about 80-90% of my left aileron trim. Again, I'll try to provide a track file if/when this happens next. I had some but they got wiped. In talking to a few others they have experienced this also.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
Firebugs replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
Here's a quick video I made today. Spitfire, BF 109, FW190 A8 & D9, I16, P51 all behave very similar to the P47. I understand there are probably feature sets that have higher priority than this subject, and I'm aware it's early access. I was thinking after recording the video maybe there can be a compromise where on the carrier deck you navigate the \ F8 menu to get reset to the rear of the deck or something... Usually the airfields have enough space to get forward velocity and steer around, but on carrier decks, no chance. I think that alone is enough to warrant some investigation from the Devs. -

Yeah this is my experience now. Before this update I could make them look where I needed. Now they stay looking basically the same direction and mostly it's at my face, which is annoying/distracting when the pilot avatar moves.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking

It seemed to be different to me. If you go full rudder you can sometimes do quick pivot turns. However... I agree it does not behave like any of the other warbirds. Locking up one side without rudder input still locks the whole thing up to a stop and it requires quite a bit of thrust (to the point of almost prop striking or tail bouncing) to get it to start turning. -
I preferred prior to this update when you could angle them to look behind you and not just skewed views of my own face.

My understanding of this is that it should behave very similarly to how the BF-109 and FW-190D with MW-50 work. As you increase throttle towards the top end, at some point you see a rapid distinct manifold pressure gain (In those aircraft, as well as the P-47 with manual water injection, you also have a distinct audio correlation). What I don't see or hear is any indication that anything is any different. It appears to be a smooth up and down with no MP "bump". Something else I question is the rate of change, at the appropriate altitudes, of switching the blower into different settings. It has quite a bit more delay than I would expect to boost manifold pressure. In general, I remain confused and will let thing settle out because I understand this is a work in progress, but I am unable to achieve historical sea-level performance, but I am able to achieve high altitude performance (20,000ft). *shrug*

Yes, I don't think this is a bug it's a general labels thing. You can see the dots through the cockpit on every plane, it's just more noticeable in mirrors because of contrast (light sky background in the mirror). If you hit LShift+F10 one more time they will disappear.

I'm using a butt kicker with Sim Haptic software and it's not picking up a stall, ever. I haven't been able to perform any maneuver at any speed to get it to buzz for "stall".

Yeah it seems kinda like both brakes engage partially when you hit L or R. It arrests movement. Hopefully will be revised soon.

There's a chart on the left side of the cockpit wall also. Can be dark/hard to see, though.
