  1. I've only found this kmz file with the postions of the SAM sites ColdWarIADS10182024.kmz
  2. Lake Edersee (N 51°10.9327', E 09°03.6587') is a reservoir and, at 27 kilometres long, one of the largest in Germany. But the dam is missing on the map. This lake was heavily contestedduring World War 2. The dam was blown up during "Operation Chastise" on 17 May 1943. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Chastise Maybe this can be modelled in the map to make the map more interesting for WWII missions as well.null Second picture from:Von Bundesarchiv, Bild 183-C0212-0043-012 / CC-BY-SA 3.0, CC BY-SA 3.0 de, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=5432683
  3. Hello everyone, I opened this post because I noticed some minor errors in the Germany CW Map. However, these are not critical The letter "ß": The German letter "ß" is read as “B” by non-German speakers, but means the same as a double "S"’. For example the city of "Gießen" (N 50°35.0864', E 08°40.2286') can therefore also be spelt "Giessen", but not "Gieben". Also the Radar Station on "Großer Feldberg". Groß mean big or large, but grob mean rough or crude. the famous ä, ö and ü: The letters can alternatively be written like this ä - ae, ö - oe, ü - ue. So the town of "Köthen"(N 51°43.1335', E 11°57.6548') can also be spelt "Koethen". It is currently called "Kothen" on the map and that sounds like a form of <profanity>ting. nullnull
  4. Yes, I know that they exist. But I don't have the option of using the mobile radars I described as EW
  5. Hello all, I like to build relatively simple missions with as little high tech as possible. What I therefore miss is the possibility to use search radars as "poor mens" early warning radars, which I can contact via the radio menu to receive corresponding BRA calls. Of course, only with the limited range of these radars. I see the HAWK SR AN/MPQ-50 or the SA-2/3 SR P19 as possible radars, perhaps together with a C2 as a group.
  6. Yes, they are ugly as hell, but at least they exist.....
  7. I don't know if my request already exists, but I haven't found anything about it. I am missing some soviet AI aircraft in DCS to recreate some historical scenarios on the Kola Map and the Afghanistan Map. For the Afghanistan Map the: AN-12 Cub (This transporter is generally missing as a counterpart to the C-130) For the Kola Map I am missing the: SU-15 YAK-28 TU-16 (no, the H-6 is not a TU-16 does not replace it) TU-126 AWACS greetings Blackbahia
  8. Are there really no airfields planned in Iran? The Iran-Iraq war was "THE" conflict in this region in the 1980s. Without Iran airfields, it becomes pretty pointless to create such missions.
  9. I have been testing several days and have probably found the error: If you set an airport to dynamic spawn in a mission, every aircraft set to this airfield must have ‘Initial’ set to at least ‘1’ in the settings, even if you are not playing on a server and do not use dynamic spawn at all. If you switch off dynamic spawn again, it will stay that way...no chance to undo it...
  10. Now i've this problem also by new fresh created missions.....it's just annoying
  11. Hello everyone, does anyone here also have the problem that in some older missions that were created some month ago, new aircraft can no longer be set as clients? The aircrafts can be set and can also be selected at the start of the mission, but then nothing happens. You can switch to other aircraft that were ‘previously’ set without problems, but the new aircraft simply do not spawn. However, only those that start from the ground (hot or cold), airstart is not affected by this. Has anyone a solution for it?
  12. Thanks a lot, now it works! I even managed to get the fill colour to be in a circle and change on capture! The trigger action "setMarkupColorFill" is necessary for this. btw: It only works with a FARP if "FARP" or "Invisble FARP" is selected. "Helipad single" and "PAD single" do not work. But the professionals here probably already know that!
  13. @Kanelbolle I couldn't manage that. I tried several times, but I think I always destroyed the script. I just don't know enough about scripting....
  14. @Kanelbolle does your script also work with FARPs or only with fixed airbases on the map?
  15. Hello, In my opinion, the AN-12 as an AI aircraft definitely belongs to the Afghanistan map. The AN-12 was the Soviets' counterpart to the C-130 Hercules and for me one of the most iconic aircraft of the Soviet Union's war in Afghanistan.
