Inspired by the 8th Tactical Fighter Air Base in Isfahan, Iran—the first IIAF airbase to receive the F-14 Tomcat in the late 1970s—the virtual TAB 8 was founded in 2019. Its tactical squadron, TFS 81, gained its first tactical experience by participating in the SATAL 2020 and GTAG 2v2 tournaments. TAB 8 is not only active on Discord, but also creates content for Instagram and DCS tutorials in Farsi on YouTube. As you might have guessed, TAB 8 has Iranian origins but is open to everyone, regardless of their background, as long as they speak English or Farsi. Last but not least, TFS 81’s public servers have been hosting engaging, self-developed PvE missions since 2018. We highly encourage you to stop by and have fun!

A Portuguese Squadron flying multi-role operations in the various modern airframes and maps. We try to replicate real operations as much as we can, but adapt some procedures to the sim reality. We are currently recruiting in pre-scheduled sessions called "Open Skies". We currently fly the F-16CM Falcon, the F/A-18C Hornet, AV-8B Harrier N/A and A-10C Thunderbolt II. We are organized in three divisions: 1st Air Force Division "Eagles", 2nd Amphibious Division "Sharks" and the "Lusitanos" Aerobatic Team, composed of operational members.
