This looks like a huge step up from the default BS textures, but the link to download them is dead... :( Is this still available?

Well, 2 fresh Windows installs later and trying to download to both my boot and secondary hard drive, and it just wont work. Guess im stuck on 1.0 forever :(

Yea, it surprised me as well. BS was the first thing to be installed on a completely new install of Win7 Pro 64. I did go with a SSD boot disk this time around so I wont defrag it, but all the other drivers have downloaded to the desktop fine (Saitek/TrackIR etc). /sigh Thanks for the links!

I just built a new PC and am in the middle of reinstalling BS. When I went to the DCS site and downloaded the 1.02 patch, it freezes and goes to 'not responding' at 99%. I have tried 2 FTPs and the bittorrent download. Now there are erroneous files on my desktop and in my Downloads folder that crash explorer and bork the PC if I try to erase them. I'm stuck with dummy files and cannot patch. I patched my original install not 2 weeks ago and it was fine. Anyone else having an issue? :(

Got that. >< Love this sim, so much detail I am bound to forget something almost every time haha. All the videos I've watched just turned on the external power and went to town, as opposed to requesting it from the ground crew. Once I solved that, I realized that there wasnt something wrong with the guage, I just had no fuel... Got the engines started and then got the ACCUM warning on the Ekran. Now figuring out if I left the batteries on lol. Thanks to everyone for the replies and links. My x52 Pro is not here yet, so I'm studying the cold start procedures (everything immediately went to full simulation :) ). Cheers!

Yea, when I used the cheat, it was from a fresh/nothing touched cockpit. APU winds up, and then back down to nothin. ><

Hey all, New BS pilot here. I had not read that the 1.02 patch breaks training until it was too late :music_whistling: I downloaded a 'Dragon's Training missions' pack or some such from here, but it appears broken. No matter how many times I go over the manual/watch Youtube, the APU will not stay running. I'm suspecting incompatability somehow because when I gave up and used WIN+Home, the helicopter kept hitting switches as though the engines were firing, but they were not. Amazing sim, cant wait to start the heli :pilotfly: Cheers
