i know this thread is old, but im currently playing this mission on this campaign and not having him (SAINT) on datallink or tacan is rely anoying, specialy while learning all the things. I debuged the mission 01 miz file and checked that the SAINT unit 45 have on waypoint zero a series of actions (EPLRS on, Activate TACAN 56X" but at the same time , triggered action of the same unit his switching his waypoint to directly to waypoint 4. Does that mean that it dont start configuring the EPLRS or TACAN?

ok , the sonner i wrote in here, faster i found the solution. i think the trick was, before taking off i waited for smoke to be also on near ready. and then take off, and waited for him to be with me all the time. after getting fuel, instead of going directly to waypoint 4 , i then go first to waypoint 3 even if the conversation tells to go waypoint 4 for training. then ruined it all that i couldnt found the bandit have to train more with the radar.

stuck on M02 , replayed like 8 times the mission and when smoke is supposed to get 50/60nm away but no tapes on call from him, just go straight to fly to mother and circling around it
