In 2.9 what I did to fix this was use the same method to open the logbook.lua file as stated above In notepad use ctrl F to bring up the FInd/Search box type dead press enter it reads dead = true change to false and save it Just for good measure enable Invulnerable(change from fasle to true inulln the lua file

I was doing a sortie in the Caucus map and I watched a ZSU 23 ( the technical not the -23-4) take a direct hit from a 500lbs JDAM to face and the gunner in the bed of the truck and the driver were both standing and the vehicle was not obliterated.
