Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I don't get a ton of value from the extra wide view (converting from simracing) so I think the trade makes sense. I should be good with a high quality 16:9 monitor? With regard to money being no object, I mean within reason. I am not afraid to invest but I'm not looking for a $50k commercial setup.

I'm currently running 7680x1440. I need much more vertical POV than this arrangement unless I'm missing something. New here and open to suggestions

After months of trying to make my beloved triple 32s work, I have decided to start a new. I have a 4090 with 64GB ram and WW MIP and using OpenTrack. Which monitor would you buy if you had only one hobby and this was it? Thanks

Will concur. Triple 32 curved here with Opentrack. I only fly the hornet and it is really a challenge to make use of the JHMCS. I am sure someone has sorted it out but I have been searching and trying for almost a year. Its playable for sure, but it feels like a disadvantage

Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Yes. I am using a three position switch (tested two) and the hold they're position for other bindings like STROBE and DISPENSER. BAT is set to ON. I'm going to go through it all again this weekend. The hardware checks out.

Yes. Procedure works fine with a mouse click, per the above.

I'm well practiced in the cold start procedure and have no issues when using the mouse to crank the engines. However, when I bind them to anything (I have tried several different 3 position switches on a variety of HID controllers) they only stay in position for a fraction of a second. I have: Cleared all bindings to eliminate conflict Mapped & removed the Center Off position - read that may be an issue Tried both Cycle and Standard No joy. Anything I'm missing?

I have Tekcreaions left and right panels. Right side works great but the left is only barely serviceable as only a few buttons are working. I am thinking of going the DCS Bios route but don't want to disrupt my MIP which is working as hoped. Has anyone used the MIP with the DCS Bios? Is this is a workable solution or am I in for a journey?

Peculiar issue that I cannot sort. Tekcreations left console in HID Mode. The ENG CRANK when assigned only shakes and 'vibrates' but doesn't set the switch. I have tried other switches on the same panel to troubleshoot to the same result. I can however assign those switches to things like Briefing or Rearm/Refuel, with success. I know that it can HOLD an input. When I switch the EGN CRANK to another device, it works great. I would contact Tekcreations. Great gent, but we had problems with shipping and he had to ship me a new device and after a dozen backs and forth, he was exhausted and I'd rather not trouble them. I converted my racing sim to DCS about a year ago and haven't looked back. I'm running 3x32's and a 4090. As I develop proficiency with F-18, I'm wondering if I shouldn't discard the triples in favor of a single screen? I cannot get the JHMCS to match my FOV (about 30d down) and generally it just feels wonky with head tracking. Have you been in this spot? Persevere or would a G9 give me a great experience without the drawbacks?

How are you seeing the 150th? I cannot display anything useful on my F10 map?

I don't think there is a vibrant and engaged community of triple users in DCS and not sure why? I run the same curved 32s and it was outstanding for sim racing with a lot of user contribution. It doesn't seem to be a viable option for DCS and VR doesn't appeal to me personally

I don't fly the Kiowa but have similar issues and more in the Hornet. There is very little discussion on threads concerning triple screen users that I am considering abandoning them. It is very frustrating.

I've read a few posts but unsure if there is a fix. Is there an ideal resolution? Hud is blurry until I zoom in but hardly visible until. PC is dedicated to DCS so no compromises for other software.
