R-27R/ER hitrate is 0% since it can be defeated with 100% consistency by somebody who knows what he's doing, including Veteran/Ace AI.

Step 1: Have Jammer on before your enemy reaches 23nm or 30nm distance (FC3 / full Fidelity "HUD visual" burnthrough ranges). Step2: Get shot at by Aim-120. Step3: Turning jammer off (before or right after the missile appears on RWR) will trash the Aim-120 making it absolutely unable to reacquire you (except if you turn jammer back on) even if it flies right past you. The only way it can kill you is by steering into its proxy fuze range by yourself. Conditions: 1) If the shot is done below ~18nm distance hot aspect this strategy will not work. 2) Does not work against F-18 shots done via Datalink guidance in silent Radar. So 18nm is essentially the "true" burnthrough distance across all jammers and modules and you have complete Aim-120 immunity until 18nm distance. The solution on a gameplay level for this would be to introduce a proper pilot physiology model (equal across all Modules where you'd expect a G-suit) that would prevent you from having perfect avionics control (operating an MFD or Radar like we do at a desk in a 6G+ loaded roll is an ambitious interpretation) in such a violent maneuver and also cause heavy pilot dizzieness ontop - like any other relevant flight sim has implemented it -. This would also punish people who abuse the lagroll in Multiplayer. But Nick Grey said they don't really care about the gameplay aspect of DCS. So this entire thing about R27s missing, AIm-120 barrellrolling etc. is pointless and expecting DCS changes on a gameplay level is not realistic accroding to ED themselves.

It's working as intended. Somewhere on the forums it was announced by the guy who works on missiles that barrel rolling missiles like this is intended as the tracking should not be able to keep up. Sparrow doesen't have that limitation (ingame). If this is something that bothers you be asured this cannot be fixed and has been in the game for a few years now. Missiles in DCS are fully client sided by the person who shoots. The only way to tell what REALLY happens is by having the shooters Track/Tacview. This will not get fixed.

You are just outenergying them because they shoot early, try again from 5nm and see again... Useless post honestly. The R-77 from this Tacview doesen't have enough energy to make that turn. You will be able to barrel roll an amraam from 5nm but no old API missile. That's the whole point of this post. What you are showing is completely unrelated. -

In multiplayer having bigger fuzes will have funny results i believe. Btw the Aim-120 is the only missile in the game that has this issue. The Sparrow cannot be barrel rolled and neither can the R-77. -

Problem contributing to this is that a violent high G roll is not affecting the pilot's fatigue level. People can spin around at 7g forever and there's no downside to doing it. If you perform such a maneuver in Il-2 the pilot gets tired with heavy blurred vision and controls won't work like they should, giving you partially randomized control stick inputs. -
