I don't think it affects the mirrors though. A similar setting for the mirrors would be good.

MAXsenna is correct, the cockpit resolution affects the mirrors. The reason it probably looks bad is you normally don't zoom in so far that the mirror takes up most of the screen.

This is a comparision I have just done in the F/A-18C sat on the carrier, one is 256 resolution and the other is 1024 resolution, nothing other than that setting was touched.

    This is the 256 Resolution:

    This is the 1024 Resolution:

Yeah. I get the same thing when I use that link you provided.  So weird ...

Takes me straight to it, try a different browser as often they can cause problems on some sites and will work for one but not another. Sometimes it's browser addons causing the problem.

Get it off there GitHub site:

    https://github.com/Heatblur-Simulations/f-4e-manual/releases

or use the direct download from there:

  3. I would go as suggested, motorcycle steering damper as they are small and robust. Unlike brand names that cost £250 ($325 USD) you can get new universal ones for around £23 ($30 USD) to £35 ($46 USD) on eBay or Amazon.

Another alternative is boot/tailgate gas struts providing they are secured properly, get some short or adjustable on eBay or Amazon for £15 ($20 USD) to £35 ($45 USD)

New and exciting business! According to him… gonna end up very disappointing is my guess.

Razbam have apparently been working on modelling for the AgustaWestland TH-73A/AW119 Koala, Bell 206 and UH-60 Blackhawk the last few months.

Vrgineers comes up a lot so maybe it’s got something to do with pilot training in VR. They have mentioned the 3D modelling of the JHMCS as well and that’s it’s already in the pilot model.

MSFS has been mentioned a few times as well, still have to wait and see if that gets gaffer taped out the same as Microprose

Come on, the evidence is Zambrano is acting like a double glazing salesman and people in the UK will know what I mean and where I am coming from.

Reminds me of the old days "I say you buy one, you get one free" although he was more about dodging paying income tax, not employees

  6. As already suggested above and disabled Civ, Traffic and drop your Preload Radius

Looking at your log I would also drop the following:

Clutter/Grass has a big impact so would drop that to maybe 900 or 1000 at least, yours is currently 1240

Forest Visibility I would drop to maybe 80% or maybe 90%, you got it on 100%

Not related as such but your Bios is about 12 versions out of date, been a few fixes since then. Some people don't like touching it in case they brick the system.

Also you updated your Nvidia drivers recently, several people had issues with the latest drivers and had to drop back one or two versions.

  8. Might be worth a try as you appear to have it installed via Steam. Doesn't really matter now everything is MT but someone on Steam the other day had issues with slow loading and changed it from MT Preview back to the default Play with Steam setting and solved their problem, think they did a repair as well which doesn't take long to verify the files.

  9. Not sure what ammo they loaded for this mission, certainly wasn't standard issue

Huey against two tanks, chain reaction and the trigger for the explosion still operational. Guessing it was a glitch in the matrix as it's not done it again.

First I heard of Razbam doing anything for MSFS.  Not going to talk sierra about them, just dont plan on supporting unprofessionalism.

The Microprose/Razbam brief encounter was a YouTube video with the B-17G Flying Fortress, claiming Razbam was involved in development in the MSFS module.

Interestingly, it was the official video trailer from Microprose (Heritage Valor Collection) as they are doing the aircraft for MSFS and stand-alone reboot of the original game, the difference was this video had a Razbam logo and a small write up.

Maybe some hard core supporter doctored the official video, added a small Razbam write up and logo knowning it would coincide with the Razbam Japan event where they had Microprose on promotional pages and the booth they had. Ironically since the Japan event all the photos show the Microprose logo blanked out with tape and photoshopped out of web pages, probably trying to convince everyone they got a massive contract for the F-15 with Microprose, that's just a wild guess though

Back in the early days some of the best sims were Microprose F-15 Strike Eagle, Janes Combat Simulations F-15, Falcon 3.0 and Microprose B-17G Flying Fortress. I had the earlier versions of Falcon on the Amiga

  11. I'm happy using my Logitech C920 camera with OpenTrack, get excellent results with it. Got the PS3 Eye Tracking Camera as well but I get better results with the C920 in low light.

Friend of mine has all the main brands, apart from the AimXY and swears by his Tobieye, he offered me his TrackIR and DeclanClip and couple of others for almost nothing and I was still "I'm fine with what I got"

For F-15E, I downloaded the manual with filename "F-15E Manual 23.06.14.pdf".  I guess that it was old (I may be wrong)...

The one on Chuck's Guides is dated 17/07/2024 so guessing so.

Just install the modules you don't have by command line, grab the manual and uninstall.

    Handy to know

Razbam have recently removed all association with DCS on their website. What am I reading into this you may ask? Well, Razbam have removed all association with DCS on their website.

    Mizzy

Yeah they got the Tokyo Game stuff on the menu where DCS used to be, maybe no one knows how to make an extra category on the menu

That same Microprose logo in their booth render, was Covered w/ GAFF tape during the event.

There was all the hype with Razbam and Microprose and as you say everything gets covered up in the end.

I was recently reading about a collaboration between Microprose and Razbam working on the B-17 Flying Fortress for MSFS, lots of pictures and the names in big bold print.

I can no longer find those web pages from a few days ago but have noticed on all the official Microprose YouTube videos and statements they make it very clear that the B-17 has been produced by a dedicated in house team and RB aren't mentioned anywhere.

  15. I had bad shimmering, tried TAA and ended up with ghosting as well mainly on the undercarriage but overall look was horrendous so went back to 4x MSAA. In the end I turned down the sharpness in DCS which improved it a lot, then put it at zero and manage sharpening with AMD Adrenaline, guessing as I had it on in game and AMD it was over powering. Default in AMD was 80% so knocked that down to 30% and much better.
