they are the skins of which came with the mod. I just recolored them. They were inspired by RF-13s skins which do not fit on the hi-poly r-73. I give Him credit tho. It was his screen shots that made Me do it! ;)

I think it is. For FC2 at any rate. Not DCS realistic. And only one variant. But otherwise a great upgrade. :thumbup:

Me too. I wish 3go would remodel the SU-30 for FC2. I know it's probably allot to ask. But man they did a great job on the Flanker!

I love the Sukhoi fighters! I keep hearing "We already did the Flanker" I ask, when? Not a DCS style sim! The Cy-27 and Cy-35 could be modeled into the same DCS. I love U.S. fighters too but I live here, I see Eagles nearly every day. Great fighter true. But the Flankers are big, sexy and exotic. And honestly I think the Sukhoi Fighters have grown up allot!

Flanker. nuthin much else. I wish We had up to date weapons for it. Or better yet the Cy-35 would be pretty sweet. Eagles are possibly the best platform for electronic air interception. With a billion dollars worth of support and up to three hundred service Men working to help it find it's target. It's no wonder it has the high success rate it does. Best fighter jet? Maybe. Best system? Probably. The Sukhoi looks much better tho. :music_whistling:

Wha????? No SU-30s???? Whole new line of Sukhoi figters, Beautiful every one! And not a single good simulator that represents them.....Yes FC-2 and Lockon have 3go. But Your asking about DCS... Wanna good subject for a great combat sim? SU-30 MKM, SU-30 MKI, SU-27 SKM...... SU-35..... Geesh! Put F-15s and F-16s in there too... Give Us the modern weapons and radars made for these aircraft.... Just My opinion tho..... Love what FC-2 has to offer...

In FC2 you can add as many new skins as you want, I have 32 skins working on 3GO Flanker so why worry. 32?! I still can't get them to load from modman. I decided to try and use the modmaker. I unpacked a few skins and loaded them into the a-10 f-15 su-27 pack. I directed the skins to the temp texture folder. If I manually drop the skins here it usually works. but, Modman does not...???? I have no doubt now that it must be the way Modman is set up on My PC. Another mod I noticed is toms skin pack. If I understand correctly this mod adds skin slots???? This would be handy for sure.

OK, Thanks again, yes this is exactly what I mean. I load em up in Modman then look through the schemes in the drop down. I pick them one by one hoping eventually the mission will load up with the desired skin. So far this is not working. The closest I have gotten is to unpack with winrar directly into the textures folder. This gets the skin but it leaves the original skin as well. My best nubie guess would be that Modman is not unpacking the skins into the correct area (folder) . Yet it seems to be unpacking and installing the mods perfectly.. Sound about right? Now if this is correct I need to figure out how to set up Modman correctly. I did follow the guide at LOF... Again Combatace, thanks for hangin in and helping Me on this issue!! :thumbup:

hey thanks. I looked and compared. Mine look exactly the same. I could be using the ME incorrectly..?:( I typically start by adding the a skin with modman. then I search thru the paint schemes hoping to find it and so far no luck. Should I be doing anything differently??? Also, I have seen load out mods. Do any of these show Your AC like LOCKON does??? Update. I looked through the whole program and decided to reinstall FC2. After installing and reinstalling the patch, I still have the shorter list of schemes in the country DB. Weird thing though, after the reinstall and loading a few mods, the sim runs much faster and looks cleaner than before. Also, I have been able to open then drop skins directly into the temp text folder. This has and interesting result. I see the skin but the original skin is visable underneath. Over all, I have learned a few things and come up with more questions..................................... Is dropping the images the only way to load these skins? I have to wonder why Modman can open and load mods but cannot load skins for Me...

Hi all, I'm new here. I have been playing with FC2 for a little while now. It may be the best looking sim I have played with. I recently set up modman and have loaded up viper's A-10, F-15 and 3go's flanker pack. AWESOME MODELS!!!!! I do have a problem tho, I cannot seem to load and or see any of the available skins for the 3go flanker. I have posted the question over at LOF and with the exception for a few hints and comments I have not yet received any info that got the skins showing... as of now I have no responses in a few days. I really appreciate all that has been made available over at LOF and here at EDF... This sim would not look half as sweet with out the support offered from You guys. :thumbup: If any one could be so kind as to let Me know how to load the 3go skins with or even without modman I would be super stoked.... been trying with no joy for a couple weeks now.:cry: What the heck am I missing???? :mad: Thanks for any help and thanks for being here.............Mike I got the machine and the will I just need help getting started...
