I think it may be related to the server its self as like you I have noticed some dont equip the Jhmcs automatically, and when you add it the alignment process does not work. Possibly but dont quote me on this could be because of the date the server mission was created. If it was made before any updates I wonder if it has an effect

Recently I have been getting quite sore eyes from sun exposure from my headset and for health reasons it should be considered. Found this when refuelling in particular because you have to keep looking up for the tanker in the Viper. I used to use OpenXR toolkit to add the sunshade option, but as I have now got Virtual Desktop I dont use it because it conflicts. It may be worth looking into the scripting for the free OH6J mod as that has a suitable setting for sunvisor and see if that can be added universally to helmets. Visor option would be handy.

Also can we get it to not turn the texture when turning the head in VR, looks odd and cheap compared to the rest of the effects. Every time I turn my head to look for a bandit the textures follow my azimuth and it stands out

Seems to have helped. But I also had to reinstall Oculus Link. I can stand these damn updates they keep on doing!! Setting E seems to have produced 5 fps more for me so I am happy with that. Shall see what I can squeeze out of it when I get my new rig Thanks for the suggestion -

How ever since I changed the setting I am getting this awful crosshatching pattern over textures which in Vr is noticeable and I changed back to default, and it wont go away If you look at the image then the zoomed in you will see what I mean, It makes the screen look like its watching through a tv It appears over everything, and even at the highest resolution my Quest 2 will go to its always there now. I did a restore to DCS DLSS 3.7 -

Worked for me too, tried both E and F preset and had a slight increase in fps, but mostly the ghosting had gone on planes -
Are you using it in manual mode instead of Auto? this usually will enable it at any time of the day as Auto is more for mornings and evenings due to the temperature changes

Just realised I posted in the wrong section I have noticed quite a few people are now using a mod I made for Openkneeboard to make a second kneeboard look like a tablet Could we possibly get something similar implemented within the game? with scroll and zoom options to be used in conjunction with the existing kneeboard? Hello, getting a bar shaped shadow appearing on all maps in two updates ago, and the most recent. Have cleared metashaders and fx files and still its happening again No matter what settings I adjust it wont disappear and wondering if anyone else has had the same? Disappears as soon as enter the area and shifts another 2-5 miles or so to do the same. Quite distracting when on a mission. RTX 3060 Quest 2

Happened to me yesterday, but noticed it was when switching from medium graphics to high settings on the clouds with the fog turned up. Happens for about 5 or so seconds in the borders of the VR then when I go to look at it suddenly stops. Also getting this dreaded bar/shadow that appears over maps, that disappears when I fly within it and shifts another 5 miles or so to another area. It stopped with the previous update, but this happened 2 updates ago so may be linked who knows? -
I started to use Vaicom Pro with Voice attack, which oddly lets me do the requests out of the normal order needed to get permission/remarks. Seems to toggle the Jtac into working so I suspect its a condition statement needed for it to work. Have been testing all afternoon with different mission types using Jtac and with various fog settings. Definitely the closer to the enemy the Reaper is the better it finds them. Although just had an interesting scenario where it dropped smoke on the deck which was hovering mid air about 100 feet above the area. Must be one of those new weapons advancements lol
