I think that any software developer should say periodically what's going on and what's not going on. I think that this is for respect in both customers and stakeholders. In my country if you start a project, then you publish a beta, then you receive feedback and disappear without saying anything is a complete NO GO. Two weeks of silence are not the best way to make affairs
