It seems to work when you have it set to give both priority, but not when it's set to pilot priority.

apologies if I'm wrong and just an idiot, I can't confirm if multicrew is broken because I've never done it before but yesterday a friend and I were trying multicrew on a uh-1 on just a local server and he can ask for control and I can give him control, but he doesn't actually get control and I had to take control back immediately to stop us from plummeting into the ground. We tried from parking too and it doesn't seem to work. All the videos and documents I've seen seem to indicate we are doing everything correctly. He is able to fire guns from copilot and gunner seats but just can't control the aircraft.

so I had this issue crop up every once in a while in VR recently where my game would literally freeze on the f10 map and I'd get a new frame every 10 seconds maybe, but if I closed the map after 10 seconds or so it would run fine again, but then if I completed the mission or whatever I was doing, the main menu would then also freeze the same way and sometimes crash making me lose progress. Usually just restarting the game (or PC) fixed the issue for a while, but then it got progressively worse to the point nothing fixed it and it was happening all the time. The thing that fixed it for me was that I deleted everything in the save game folder (except the config folder and the logbook.lua in the MissionEditor folder). I tried deleting everything but the config and the missioneditor folder but it was still doing it, it wasn't until I deleted everything in the missioneditor folder (minus the logbook.lua) that it fixed it for me. I'm assuming something got corrupted in my save. I got this solution from another thread somewhere and I was at the point where I'd try anything, and honestly surprised it worked.

interesting. I have a 13700k, 3080ti and a Valve index and I recently purchased the Kiowa and haven't noticed any performance issues in VR. I play at 90 fps and I am very sensitive to even a 5 fps drop. That being said, I think I've only flown it on Caucasus SP and the index is a lower resolution per eye than the quest 3. Glad this is getting attention though because any extra performance is good!

I'm going to fly the one skipped mission with the convoy that should be fixed now and then refly the 9th mission and see what happens.

but my problem is I have completed the "excursion in the mountains" mission which would be the 9th one in the list, and it's not giving me the next mission, there should be 3 more based on what you said. Does it have something to do with the skipped missions, or is this just a DCS bug?

oof. I literally skipped the first mission, so if I want to get a "win" status on the campaign I will have to re-fly every other mission. That's....annoying. I get it, it's a sim and I should have to play through them all without dying, but that's crazy. That's hours of flying missions I've already completed.

There's supposed to be more than 10 missions in this campaign right? (some are a and b) but I only have 9. I have skipped 2 missions (one because I died at the very end, and one because bugged) and I supposedly can't complete those missions without starting the whole campaign over, not sure if that's related?

so this is somewhat off topic, but I have a higher chance of having my comment replied to here (these forums are dead). This has supposedly been fixed in the patch the other day, so I was going to go back and finish this mission, but I had previously skipped the first mission because I flew it entirety before but screwed up my landing right at the end and died and didn't feel like re-flying it right away. So I went to replay mission 1 first, after I completed it, it told me if I save the mission results it will clear my mission results for everything after that. Can someone confirm that it will clear my campaign progress? I literally cannot find anything relevant anywhere on the internet. It seems silly to me that if you skip a mission, you can't clear the campaign without reflying every mission.

yeah I just didn't realize. at first I was like "I can't drop smokes from the huey, how the hell do I do this" and I flew over the bunker but didn't hit the trigger so I don't know how low you have to be but I got it the second time.

to necro this thread, I have rain droplets set to high and I started a mission that was raining and it looks awesome in vr and was like "this is going to be cool" except I found out very quickly that the wipers don't work and I can't see a damn thing through the "rain droplets" seems strange to include it as an option in the settings when it's impossible to fly with it on.

near the end of needle in a haystack (part 2) when you are supposed to mark the targets with smoke, I wasn't really sure what to do immediately and when I checked the message history, it says "fast and slow" and I was so confused. I think it's supposed to say fast and low. I eventually figured it out.

I've been getting heavy into DCS again and the Huey and bought most of the campaigns, I finished the MAD campaign yesterday and one of those missions required the use of rockets and it didn't do this, but on a free flight previously and one of the default missions I just tried it did this. Not sure if it's map specific or the MAD mission used different unguided rockets?? Anyways, really bummer timing as I'm balls deep into this thing right now.
