  1. Similar issue here but haven't been able to use my HTC VR controllers since MT version is the only one available back in 2.9.8.x. I just checked on the latest 2.9.16.x and same issue, I still don't even see my hands in the game unless I'm running 2.8.7.x, and there are other issues present in that version that have been addressed long ago that I'm stuck dealing with until I can play a current version. I've posted and filed a previous ticket #177081 on my issues.
  2. Just confirmed that this issue is still the same for me in the latest update, 2.9.10.4160, and I haven't heard anything from ED here or in similar posts I've made in the ED discord so I'm cutting a support ticket on this issue now.
  3. HTC Vive controllers still not showing up at all for me in this new update from December 11 ehter. Tried the "disable controllers in VR menu, leave the game, come back in, enable controllers...repeat" work around and was not able to get my VR Hands to show at all in the main menu screen. Will reset everything again and if still not working, revert back to that old 2.9.7.x version I mentioned earlier just to be able to play, since all my key bindings are dependent on modifiers on a VR controller.
  4. No expert here but I've been having the same issue using the HTC Vive Cosmos Elite, which does not have native OpenXR support, so it must use SteamVR for that, across the last two DCS versions including 2.9.10.x just released. I have never been able to see my VR hands in the game in any way in any multi-threaded (MT) version, especially my expected use case, when using a Vive controller to control them (I have my key bind modification key binds mapped to my Vive controller). Forcing VR and OpenXR in the shortcut properties has no effect for me in the last two versions (I think that was a temp requirement a year ago anyway). So far, reverting all the way back to 2.9.7.59263 Single Threaded version (the last stand alone ST version I believe) is the only way I've found to get my VR hands back. I believe the issue is that both of our VR headsets still need to use the SteamVR runtime in order to interface with DCS' current OpenXR environment. That is my only option with my current setup though you probably want to look into using OculusVR runtime in hopes DCS now supports that in their current game versions (all MT) more effectively than they support SteamVR. I've seen many others have the same problem with any HTC Vive setup needing to use SteamVR as well as users of Valve Index, unsure about your fellow Oculus Rift S people though. Here is the procedure I've used to revert back to that old version, it works fine for single player and multi-player air to air as long as they have the same version (VERY few do anymore) with just the F10 basemap missing while rest of map functions are fine. Possible issues with Air to ground in custom missions on it but not fully confirmed. No reason to expect any issues with that old version to be resolved where they do still exist. open terminal and run cd "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin" then run ./DCS_updater.exe update 2.9.7.59263@release That should run the DCS updater but have it "update" you back to that version. Good luck!
  5. My VR headset and controllers work perfectly find outside of DCS but once launched, I have the same missing my VR hands/controllers issue as has been reported by many others since July and renewed with latest update. None of the fixes posted across multiple threads and on the ED discord for any version since 2.9.7 work for me and I've tried them all multiple times. Only solution is reversion to an outdated version. Last week, I reverted all the way back to 2.9.7.59263 and ran the ST version, VR hands worked great there. No F10 basemap was the only major issue I found while flying 1V1 Air to Air solo and in a MP server with my son who also reverted to save version so we could play together. No issues in free flight and a few other canned missions while armed for A2A in multiple planes as far as I could see. He has now been running into crashing when selecting cluster bombs and getting Mavericks to detonate on impact while trying to run a custom mission so that version likely has other Air to Ground bugs still in it too. Will be reverting back again to that old ST version using the following procedure as this seems like an issue within the MT versions (2.9.7.59263 MT had the same missing hands issue). Please get this fixed, no fun having to revert so far back just to play in VR!! Attaching my log file from the latest version up to menu screen with no VR hands. Attaching DXdia.txt Attaching screenshot of NVidia control settings. Don't know how to capture in game settings through VR screenshot or record a video but trust me, game is running fine, I just have no way of controlling anything in main menu, settings, and in cockpit, without using mouse as pointer and selector. All my key binds are already set on VR controller as modifier and my room setup doesn't allow me to readily convert to mouse and keyboard for modifiers. Using a new Win 11 machine with 14th gen i9 and 4070 Ti Super. Plenty of 2 TB memory open and running 64 GB RAM. HTC Vive controllers and a HTC Cosmos Elite Headset. dcs.log DxDiag.txt
  6. Same issue as above for me after today's update to 2.9.10.3948. No fixes posted by many others have worked for me outside of reverting back to 2.9.7 ST version. Using a new Win 11 machine with 14th gen i9 and 4070 Ti Super. Plenty of 2 TB memory open and running 64 GB RAM. Please get this fixed, no fun having to revert so far back just to play in VR!! How to downgrade DCS: open terminal and run cd "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin" then run ./DCS_updater.exe update {version}@release replace {version} with version number. ex: 2.9.7.59263 Once this completes, go into C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin and open the .exe file to launch the game. It will not run updater, this is a single threaded, pre- new launcher version of the game. It runs my VR controllers but is missing a basemap on its F10 map and may also have issues with Air to ground weapons in at least custom missions such as Mavericks not detonating on impact and game crashes when cluster bombs are selected. You will also have a Bin-MT folder, those are multi-threaded preview versions and they have the same missing VR controllers/in game hands/controls issue as the latest version (MT built in) still has. dcs.log
