PhantomHans, don't judge all of us by the few rude posters on this thread. There are some here that are willing to help. But let me make a kind suggestion (and I'm not saying go away), perhaps try Falcon BMS. It has gotten really good over the 25 years it has been around, they have a new terrain engine coming, and that community is much more friendly and helpful, they are all volunteers and not so snobbish as many are here. I quite another sim because they kept calling it a "engineering" and yet it was just a sim.

Just to put in my 2 cents worth. I agree with PhantomHans, (just so you know that you have some support here). I am only 72, but have spent many years teaching students various skills: youth baseball, horseback riding, carpentry,, skiing. All of these require a person to learn the simple steps before the more advanced. I know of many people who were taken to the top of the mountain and told to "ski", or put on a horse and told to "ride", or told to hit the ball, (and many of these people never attempted that activity again), which is the case of DCS = lost customer. I think that all of the helps in DCS are good for beginning to learn this game. I have 1000s of hours of sim time and still find some aspect hard to learn. 2nd note: DCS is missing a huge revenue source by making this game only for the "hardcore" simmer. It is obvious that they are struggling, just read the writing on the walls. Bringing the beginners into flight sims could be a large benefit for us all in that they would generate more $ resources to make more for improvemens and new mods.

To Raisuli: Nice training miz. I think these are great. Really want to be greater would be to add notes or what ever to say when to drop gears, when to deploy flaps, what speed to be at, etc.

AS I reported this in the past but no results. The laser lines are not visible in VR Quest 2 in MT VR. Bignewy said they would look into, but I never heard back or saw any update. However they do show up in VR in VIRTUAL DESKTOP. Perhaps a solution could be found for normal steam vr mt. Lines are black and green and have a black X.

It is more important to ED to sell new stuff then it is to fix current problems. My suggestion is to have everyone buy the new map and then maybe they can afford to hire someone to fix this issue. LOL. Obviously they have spent all their time and effort and money and energy lately to make some slick hype videos. I counted all my DLC (downloads from Steam), got 34 of them, I would think we all have spent enough on this game to get some results, instead of "it is coming". Sad thing is we cannot do anything. Yes we all talk big, but once they got our money we lost all control. We can't go on strike, or boycott the game, or anything like that. This is the single largest issue I have seen with this game since I purchased it 2 years ago. I do hope that DCS/ED is not on the verge of total collapse but so many signs indicate such possible outcome. Can only wait and see.

DCS fatcat exes should do what Boeing exes did, QUIT. Way to many customer complaints about this and they wont fix it until they want. Get off your fat butts and fix this

posted in other thread also. having the same problem with steam, can't get dcs to load. just checked and I am still on V62, but is option to update if I want

i have the same problem, steam, quest vr, tried a lot of different things. I did note that steam is experiencing a lot of problems right now. Is it possible that steam is the problem right now? I am going to wait a few hours and try again. I am on V62 in quest still.

Any suggestions for improving the mpd's text. VR quest 2 may be the problems in itself and is just not possible to be any better. But I would interested in trying alternatives. I have tried OTT, DCS in game settings and Nvidia control panels changes, but maybe some expert out there has some good suggestions to try. Thanks, and if no help I do understand.

I agree. I have flown the "Apocalypse Now" mission for the UH-1 and the stupid birds keep flying into each other. Watched one CH-47 fly into the back of another one. Hueys fly into each other. By the time you get to the DZ half the landing force has crashed. We need some NOT AI (absolute idiot) to reprogram the AI for helos.

Tail wheel is very very very sensitive. Need to get really good and very light with the anti-torque (rudder) pedals.

open steam, open dcs, click play, will see small screen - DCS world steam edition, bottom row is O "Play MT Preview", check mark, then click play on bottom of this small screen. Some people have set this screen to "always use this option" so check that you have not checked this previously to one of the other options. When DCS opens on the first UI you should see "MT preview ####" notice on bottom right of screen. Then can go to options and turn on DLSS

another solution - go to ME, call up the AH-64, on the line where the waypoints, loadout etc are is the line (...) but vertical is the option for the FCR , un- check the remove FCR. U cannot save the change, but u can just fly from the ME page and then u are flying with FCR aboard. Yes have to do it every time you come into that mission, Stone Sky did say hopes to have changed in next update.
