Happy Birthday :)

We would have to wait and see it with the new missile models and see if it's a piece of cake or piece of tart.
An amraam can not chase a flanker for 5-10 minutes…
F-16 pilots have even NATO instructions to deal with flanker targets:
If a flanker is popping up on the edge of his radar then the instruction pronounce: “Full burner to home base and come back with the F-15 or the raptor :D”
-
Im more looking forward for F-16 VS flanker match. Brute force SARH VS smart ninble AMRAAM platform. Very interesting and tacticaly rich possibilities. :)
The only thing the Flanker pilot has to do is to fly a couple of big circles and wait until the viper goes bingo and then he can simply finish the job! :D(Outrunning the amraams would be a piece of a cake)
The F-16 has to go full burner all the time to keep up with a cruising flanker :D

It's poor, let's be honest!
Yes but the FC 1.12b ka-50 model is of even poorer quality :D.
That is my point (I don’t have YET the freaking DCS BS and I am not a beta tester :D)
-
OMG what ugly model :P
Vikhrs have strange caps on the end of missiles ;]
But maybe I'll try fly it. Thanks!
Is cabina fine modelled or also not too good?
Here you go…:pilotfly:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2004helicopters38.htm
Anyway the model is better than the FC 1.12b ka-50 model :P
PS. FM’s are hard on realistic but ok on easy (but again I can’t compare it yet with the BS )
The print screen was not getting the spinning rotors ??? (but this is really nice done in FS)

OMG, this pic looks like real !
thanks for the link :)
Trees look great… Wonderful
-
Of course it is not BS-DCS but anyway it is a cool add-on to prepare with!
PS. It is compatible with FSX.

Rather impressive use of effects! :)
The new standard is set…:pilotfly:
High Quality!

When you need spare parts for your flight setup....................this is the place to be:surprise:
More spare parts on the U.S. Aircraft Cemetery :D:

Finally I found something, take that one:
Oh man, that is a thorny one…
I’ve seen it somewhere but I forgot the link.. ;)

Thanks for the comments guys :)
There is something weird about your video with resolution!
When you check the properties of your movie it shows 720x576 res aspect ratio 5/4 the same as my example movie here included.
But your movie resolution is different than it shows: something like 717x403 (properties is 720x576)?
720x576=414.720
717x403=288.951 (I guess you have black borders to get 16/9 aspect ratio)
My 11MB sample 720x576 normal: http://rapidshare.com/files/102368776/Flaming_Cliffs.avi.html

Super…
Nice moves too! :pilotfly:

Nice video - Apparently it had some very unpleasant flight characteristics, esp with the gear down.
& all hydraulics - no FBW at all...
Don't know who's turn - I jumped in ..
I think Groove has the most accurate info (turned out it was his last kill which was not done with the ME 262
and even my source of the last American plane shot down as the 352th kill was not accurate info)
Because he is 2 more days in UK I guess you can jump in, or any person!
Anyway I am not sure about the story:
I have a new source confirming my old source:

“Erich Hartmann

Didnt knew that Yak-11 he show down on 8th of May 1945 over Brno was a US plane.
Anyway my source was not confirmed on wikipedia thus new question with the same answer:
“Which plane was assigned at the end of the war for Erich Hartmann by his General Galland?”
My source: Plastic cards in Dutch printed in Italy Edito-service S.A. Genиve D5 016 10-20
@Groove,
My Card collection with photos from Bundesarchiv could be not 100% reliable thus:
Can you give me a link "Yak-11"? I am kind of interested in this stuff.
-
Im not sure about your sources ;)
Trust me, this time I have it on paper! ;)
-
Actually it was a 109 again @ answer no. 4
Ok, question 3 and 4 is wrong . :D
Sorry Poko has 3 out of 4
3) American plane is correct!
So I still need answer 4 please?
-
1) Il-2 Shturmovik
2) Bf-109 G/6
3) Russian plane over Czehoslovakia ( even i think it was a Mustang over Romania )
4) FW-190D ?
You both have 2 questions correct each (out of 4)!
Guess again! I need 4 correct answers :D.
-
Still in UK, so im giving my question to anyone who have something interesting!
Ok, :D
Historical questions:
1) What was the name of the first plane shot down by Ace Erich Hartmann?
2) What was the name of most successful fighter plane flown by Erich Hartmann?
3) What was the Nationality of the plane recorded as the 352nd victim (and last victim) killed by Erich Hartmann?
4) What plane was Erich Hartmann flying when he made this final kill on the last day of the war in Europe?
I need 4 correct answers…

:) wishing you good luck because I know how hard it is.
Hope to see you online:thumbup:
The only server available with a good ping for me was RAF minutes ago.
I made my comeback in a Mig29A vs Mig29A mission (I do realy hate the A version for the lack of ET/R77).
I made a huge tactical mistake to go vertical with a full fuel and while close to stalling at 10K I got shot down by AA-11 “Archer” :D.
Problem is to have low ping servers with people in the Belgium region.
(I do miss the public 504th server;))
-
Sure 10308. Do you use the LoConfig? This programm saves all your servers you fly on, port, connection speed etc.
Thanks,
My memory was not so bad I guess…
I will try a ride after about 8 months without online experience (thus my comeback to checkout the new aces:P in the Lockon sky’s lately :D )
-
10308 ?
I forgot the number of the port to open to fly online with lockon?
I remember something like 10308. Was it 10308? :helpsmilie:
I lost my book with all my important numbers!
