  1. Exactly! Finger muscle twitching is all that is needed to make tiny flight corrections.
  2. TAIPAN, would you be kind enough to post comparison pics between 2560x1600 and 1920x1080, to show the difference in cockpit FOV? Compressed pics will be fine. Thanks.
  3. I'm also a happy owner of the X65. Throttle ergonomics is great. Only gripe is the stick hats are too loose with very little tactile feel. Saitek support is non-existent.
  4. Great topic! Here's are some ideas (or wishlist ;)) 1. Variable stick tension via easy spring swap mechanism. 2. Different stick designs modelled after real aircraft, swappable (like Cougar/Warthog. 3. 2/3 clip-on palmrests of different thickness to cater to different hand sizes. Similar to what X65 has now, but it comes with only one. 4. Dual throttles with easy removable idle and afterburner detents. 5. Different throttle grip designs, modelled after real aircraft, swappable. 6. Wireless, similar to logitech's Unifying usb thing And now for the really crazy idea: MODULAR DESIGN. Basically the idea is that u buy the basic throttle and stick base, choose between either force-sensing module or spring module, then finally choose the throttle grip and stick design. The force sensing/spring module shd be easily assembled into the stick base.
  5. LOL@Mower... This thread was just an elaborate plot make u shell out $ for leather gloves and get ridiculed by the wife. Gotcha.:D
  6. WRONG! It's the latest CH Products prototype... top secret, of course!:music_whistling:
  7. Actually i didn't use a mould...just fitted the cloth over, conformed it to the shape i wanted, made some measurements, nip & tuck here and there etc... Throttle cover ended up a little too tight! And I'm too lazy to sew, so it's UHU glue all the way...lol
  8. Homemade, felt, content & Keychain from ebay. ;)
  9. It's a perpetual summer over here, so my hand does get a little sweaty after awhile. So the gloves do serve a purpose. But i have to use really thin nylon/cotton types.
  10. I'm wearing it for my X65, and i find it really improves the performance. Especially when using the twist rudder, my hand doesn't slip. Practical too, cos I don't have to clean my stick that often. The gloves i'm using costs less than $5, it has tiny little rubber dots that is anti-slip. Anyone else?
  11. Since Kinect was mentioned... Imagine giving wingman commands with hand signals... Ejecting by actually performing the ejection movements... IMMERSIVE!
  12. Hey guys, first post here. I am the creator of the above simhq forum post, i'm more active over there. Foxy Analyser is part of the Foxy 4.0 programming software for TM Cougar. Just google for it. My experience with Saitek X65 is only with Falcon, but feel free to ask any questions!
