I figured it out, it was the lua file. How I ended up fixing it was making my own file off of the template here on the DCS website. And then I exported it all and re did the livery now it works perfectly fine. Thank you!!

Is that found in the lua file for the livery?

Right on man thank you !! I attempted one today and although I did get something going I’m having a texture missing and grey blocks on one side of my aircraft.

Hello, I was successful in making my livery but every time I install it there’s a missing texture text and dark grey blocks on one side of my aircraft I can see the livery but I’m wondering where I’m going wrong. I used notepad ++ for the lua file and didn’t touch anything in there except changing the name at the bottom. And I used gimp to do the editing. I merged all of the layers and exported it to a dds file and then pasted the livery file into my saved games livery folder but no matter what I do or change it still has texture issues. Please help

How do you download the Vikings livery? I’d enjoy flying in a plane I maintained as a powerliner.

Hello, I was hoping that I could add a squadron to the wish list of USMC skins? The squadron in question is VMFA(AW)-225 the Vikings. they have had some pretty cool looking liveries especially their second to last one before their sundown to F-35s. I have attached pictures for reference. The 3 tone black, blue, and grey was their second to last show bird, and the pictures with the Viking head colored is their show bird from years ago Id say late 90s early 2000s, and the all grey with a blue line on the vertical stab is their standard squadron scheme with the ACE and death dealer skeleton in the middle. They did have a mix of C models in their squadron at one point. I attempted to make the scheme but failed miserably I would love to see it in action in the game.
