  1. Thanks - that seems to have done the job. Flyco
  2. While trying to set up Helios for the first time, when I try to add A10C as an interface, it states that it cannot find my Install Path. Even after entering the correct path it persists in denying it. Can anyone help? Flyco
  3. Thanks. I will await your fuller response. I have just moved message this to the main B256A13 thread - about 30secs before you replied? Flyco
  4. Spurious inputs - Possibly crosstalk I have a B256A13 board that I have installed in a homebuilt A10 cockpit. With one 40-way idc cable connecting it to a number of input switch panels it works fine. However, when I connect several idc cables to the additional header plugs I seem to be getting spurious button inputs, which I can only ascribe to crosstalk among the many cables linking acros the sim. Has anyone experienced similar problems, and has anyone got any ideas as to the cause or a suggested solution. I dont fancy linking a couple of hundred buttons and switches using shielded cabling! 5. I have had some success with printing panels onto photographic paper, using a good quality inkjet. I then stick the print onto black polystrene sheet (obtainable from model shops), using sparya on adhesive to get a good overall fixing. You do need to paint the exposed white edges of the paper (using black drawing ink) and then spray on several coats of clear satin (or gloss or matt) varnish. The result looks very good, but does damage rather easily I'm afraid. I have attached a quick snap of two panels I have built using this procedure. You will see that you can also include such things as yellow and black caution signs. The original artwork I do myself using TurboCAD.
  6. Thanks. That saves me some wiring etc
  7. I am building a UFC. I can find no reference to the 6 buttons situated immediately below the Master Caution Indicator (The top three are labelled FWD, Mid, and Aft). Can anyone confirm that these are not used in the A-10C and/or the DCS simulation. On the other hand if they are used can anyone enlighten me as to what their functions are.
