See example attached. First I tried some actual targets, all worked. At the end I took a random location, tried to name it 2S3 and it got CDU_INPUT_ERROR; made a new waypoint at that exact same location as that one but named it TWOESSTHREE instead, got accepted. This is FUBAR. LastMissionTrack.trk

Madman1 started following Mission 3 Bug Out is bugged? and CUD_INPUT_ERROR for some waypoint names
-
I've noticed that if I name a waypoint certain names I get CDU_INPUT_ERROR but not other names. For example if I name a waypoint 2S3 I get the error message but if I name that exact same location TWOESSTHEREE I do not get the error. What gives? Is there some list of alphanumeric combos that the A-10C's CDU is forbidden to accept?

Mission 3 Bug Out is bugged?
Madman1 replied to Madman1's topic in A-10C Operation Piercing Fury Campaign
That's what I was using. -
No matter what I do the best score I can get is 50. I flew both waypoints and all the enemies are dead but then nothing happens. No more orders, no comms traffic, no new enemies, no prompts. I can fly around until I run out of fuel and still nothing happens. If I fly home and all my wingmen land and park and I only get a 50 instead of 100. What gives? LastMissionTrack.trk

Dual factor authentication for free trials?

How? The only option that the DCS website gives me is Google Authenticator. It doesn't show me anything else. -

I do not want to use any Google app. I do not trust them to keep my phone number private. They routinely collect and sell personal data so their 2FA app can get stuffed. Please give us an alternative. -
After "repair" of landing gear, A-10C pulls heavily to the right.

Ok thanks for the informative reply. I'll let you know if this crops up again. -

I noticed that. To me that just means that the ground crew didn't finish fixing the aircraft; if it was actually fixed correctly there shouldn't be any caution lights after the startup sequence is finished. Instead it's showing that they left the right engine and hydraulics borked.... which is interesting becasue I didn't break any of those, just the landing gear. Do I just need to push the caution lights to fix it? -

Anyone? Hello? -

Ok I replicated the problem, only with two blow tires instead of one. But same result: A-10 pulls hard to the right. And I managed to keep it under 50MB this time so here ya go, fresh new track:4YA_CAU_PVE_V2.141[03_DEC_BKN]-20250903-162244.trk It's on the Caucasus map. Only "mod" is a RCAF livery but that shouldn't matter should it? 4YA_CAU_PVE_V2.141[03_DEC_BKN]-20250903-162244.trk -

I uploaded it to a third-party server: https://limewire.com/d/VskAK#fw958xMxG8 -

Oh god dammit, the track is larger than 50MB so this forum won't let me upload it. Really, a 50MB limit? Did 2008 barricade itself inside ED headquarters and hold the file server hostage? -

What's a "short track?" I can see tracks in my Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer folder but they're all the entire match, not just the incident. How do I trim them down? -
I damaged one wheel on landing but I was able to make it to the parking area intact. I shut down, made sure the engines were completely stopped and then used the F8 menu to ask for repair. Got an affirmative reply from the Chief. Waited, countdown started, repair sequence ran. Chief comes back with "repairs complete." I restart the aircraft and get moving. Now the A-10 pulls heavily to the right, much more than it normally does. I know that the A-10 normally drifts when rolling on the ground becasue of the offset front gear but this is much worse than that. SO anyways, after "repair" I need to hold the rudder to about ten degrees continuously just to keep it on the taxiway or I will end up in the grass. Is this working-as-intended or is this a bug?

I figured it out myself. I was launching from about 6000 and then the Mavs were arcing up into clouds. Once in they clouds they would then loose lock when the lost sight of their targets. I was simply launching them from too high of an altitude, too close to clouds. Now I launch from about 3000-4000 and the Mavs don't miss anymore.
