    seems to be the shadows! ..... turn them off and no shadows pop in in cocpit , turn them o even on low .....shadows pop in when zooming in on them inside the pit .....outside view does not happen.... clearly a bug but i cannot find any reported thread ?

    thanks for tip , now this seems only to work in f2 view for me , inside cockpit it seems that objects still popin ? ....never had this in 1,2,16 ....

     

    also notice that when nearing buildings , the textures seem to swap for a moment ....like they change to another texture of building....very strange ...

     

    maybe i can still change something else in the lua ?

    just bought L39 but cannot download beta

    code received but when trying to download the beta the dcs site gives me

    have 1.5 beta installed but cannot enter from inside dcs world to modules as dcs says i have no internet connection ? .....i can input my password here in the forums but not inside dcs itself ?

     

    first module with this issue

     

    any idea or help ?

    pop up of trees and buildings

    dear ed team,

     

    just tested 1,2,16 and 1,5 , same airfield , same ac , in 1,5 i see a lot of building textures swapping when near the buildings themselves , when pulling up and looking backwards , the trees and buildings pop up or pop off very abrupt where in 1,2,16 this transition was not noticable , smoother visually ....

     

    have all settings maxed out on both versions , just for info , maybe of the beta version ?

    thanks , but all are set as reqrd by the cold start guide , the engine relight is the same as engine start function or something different ?

     

    i tried again in full flight and there i can switch off and on , so just at cold start ......

    Dear all ,

     

    i have problems starting the engine in cold start , i follow the guide but unable to get the green light on from the GTS system , i have engine start mapped to hotas throttle but nothing happens , all buttoms activated .....:(

     

    anyone same issue ?

    DCS : Duxford Imperial Museum Scenery as tribute to the fighter collection

    Dear Wags/ ED team,

     

    In a few weeks time , i will be heading to the flying legends airshow at Duxford, Cambridge and was thinking if it would be possible to see this fantastic place as scenery area into DCS world? Like a commemoration to the fighter collection and all the great pilots who made history .......

     

    I can imagine all those ww2 airplanes to be tested from this field in the dcs world ! :pilotfly:with all the realistic buildings , static planes , museum ......

     

    Would this be possible in the new terrain for example to add ?

     

    Just an idea ........just a dream

    dear all ,

     

    i have asked this already a long time ago but it seemed at that time it was not possible to do , but nowadays i see so many mods that i was wandering if following was possible :

     

    to recreate nitka komplex at saki airbase ?

    this is/was the training komplex for the su-33

    a duplicate of the kuznetsov aircraftcarrier ramp (front deck)

    was placed on the runway to exercise jumps

    mayby using the graphs (upper deck) of the kuznetsov??

     

    please note that i have no idea about making mods , this is just a general question ??

     

    i had this idea since lock on came out , to train my su33 pilots before they go on to do the serious work on the carrier :)!!

     

    any comments are welcome !!

     

    someone who wants to make this mod for the community ??

    how do i install this nomera file (i want to get rid of the numbering on this russian knights early scheme only !)

     

    i tried modman , but numbers still on top of the beautiful russian air force flag on the tails !!! 8-)

     

    very frustrating !!!! :helpsmilie:
