  1. thanks for the comment power5 i think i'll start a new thread as i am getting out of topic here. i need some advise from users with nvidia surround and this is for helios
  2. loz, and what about the performance hit? i dont know the frame rate but when i use 1 single monitor i can max everything and run smoothly and when in surround mode there are many jumps, also the right monitor seems to refresh a bit later than the other two. have you tried to disable surround and use softth to spam the view? will this make things go faster and maybe we will be able to export the mfd's to the fourth monitor?
  3. Loz, what do you use to stick the cougar mfd's to the screen? i am looking for something that i can remove easily with no residue, of course, left on the screen, for other games or to work in windows. any suggestions?
  4. Hi Vega, I just replied in other thread but not sure if i explanied myself correctly. i run nvidia surround same as you with two gtx 480's but i have a third video card (gtx 9800) to run helios on a fourth monitor. so far so good, no problems (apart of the frame hit but not because of helios, it happens because os surround). my problem is to get the mfs exported to the fourth screen, i can export them to any of the other three, but not to the fourth (touch).
  5. Love your setup, i am running nvidia surround with two gtx 480 and using helios on a fourth touch screen and couldnt be happier. Only problem I have is the frame hit (not helios related) using surround and aldo that i can not export the mfd data to the fourth screen (i can to any of the other three), any ideas??
  6. Vman, you said you are using nvidia surround, so am I. What about the performance hit ?? I am running surround with two gtx 480, i select just one monitor and the performance drops dramatically. Also i have tried to output the MFD's to a fourth (touch screen) that i run with a third gtx 9800 video card but i am not able to export the mfd's to that monitor (i am with the other three, i pretty much undestand how to modify the file for the monitors). Have you tried/managed to export the MFD data to a fourth screen while using surround?
  7. Thanks for our reply. I have done some additional testing and funny thing is that it works perfectly for the f-15, but it does not work at all for the a-10. I have tried as per your indication mapping only for some modes, no luck. I can map the RNG axis to other functions (tried with the throttle), same thing with the ANT axis, no problems either. It is not a really big issue since i can edit my joy profile and make it work but still a bit annoying.
  8. Well, the subject says it all, I map the range axis (cant remember which one it is i believe slider 0) of the cougar to MFD Range but no luck. I have checked my cougar and the axis is working perfectly. It doesn't matter if i load a profile or not. I have also tried to map a different axis to MFD Range (Antenna, even the Axis 0, 1 and 2), no luck. I have a temporary solution by editing my lo-mac cougar profile and enter the mfd zoom in an out keys for the range axis of the cougar but i will prefer to have it mapped in the game. is it just me or i does not work ? any ideas ? excuse my english....
