I just updated to the new drivers, I went in and flew around first, had smoke on and fired bullets into the ground etc... After the new drivers were installed, I did the same thing. I just didn't see much of a difference if any at all, but that is just me and my system specs. This is with my normal graphic settings of medium, plus scenes on high, I have to have all those trees, and water on high. 38 FPS sitting on the runnway..... I did howerver notice an improvment in FPS when setting my graphic settings to high, plus heat blur..... 32 FPS sitting on the runway, the lowest frames I got was when firing my gun, smoke on, and firing flares at the same time. It drop to 18-22 FPS. I never got a crash from using advanced haze.

I believe there are tracks in the game that demo TrackIR or go to http://naturalpoint.com/trackir/ and check it out. Theres nothing natural about using your feet to look around, plus my feet are on the rudder pedals. TrackIR does take some getting used to, but it is well worth it.

HOTAS helps me out a lot, but it's all what works best for each person. I think the HOTAS adds to the sim experience and allowing you to have more control over the aircraft.
