    Thank you, will be fixed
  2. Маэстро's post in AIM-9P series in DCS was marked as the answer
    Hello @MysteriousHonza,
Thank you for your interest in DCS weapons. Most of these changes were already made some time ago and just awaitng to be released. AIM-9 family missiles will have correct max g-load and motors. CCM was also readjsuted, P and P3 CCM was reduced a bit, P5 ccm_k is equal to 9L ccm_k now (not 9M bc it's a quite more advanced missile).
  3. Маэстро's post in AIM-120 Midcource Guidance Desync was marked as the answer
Looks like this desync was fixed a few months ago, but for some reason was not included into public DCS version. Will be available in the next update.
  4. Маэстро's post in [OB 2.7.18.30348] AIM-120 does 40G loop/backflip when fired in maddog was marked as the answer
    Known issue.
  5. Маэстро's post in AIM-120 Can't track through 360 turns was marked as the answer
It's already fixed internally. Missile will better track target in such conditions(and even will hit target in q4 and q3 tracks).
  6. Маэстро's post in R-27ER overshoots target every time was marked as the answer
I already fixed this internally, so it will be released soon, but not in the next patch.
I think yes, this how old API works.
  7. Маэстро's post in [OB 2.7.16.28157] AIM-9B, AIM-9J, AIM-9Ps, R-60s, and other missiles missing nozzle_exit_area value was marked as the answer
Usually we add nozzle_exit_area value after accurate ballistics adjustment, so missiles with old FM data have no this option. I'll add that area for AIM-9J/P/P5, others will receive it after FM update.
  8. Маэстро's post in R-60M exhaust effect was marked as the answer
    fixed internally
  9. Маэстро's post in Lateral Missile Guidance Bug - AIM-54 and AIM-120B/C was marked as the answer
That's not correct to directly compare AIM-120 and AIM-54 guidance, them use different API and different guidance laws.
There is no issue with AIM-120 guidance. It's ok if missile has almost straight trajectory but not exactly straight.
Regarding AIM-54 - such big arc is a result of guidance tuning of this particular missile. I will contact Heatblur.
  10. Маэстро's post in DCS Aim-7 Sparrow Potentially Underperforming was marked as the answer
There is no underperfoming. We have solid info on Sparrow rocket motor and drag.
Designation-systems table is not pretty reliable source. Hoverver, AIM-7F/M/H can reach Mach 4 above 15000m altitude and launch velocity about Mach 2.5.

    FYI

  11. Маэстро's post in Aim-9P Field of view too large was marked as the answer
    Fixed internally
  12. Маэстро's post in R-33 Possibly Underperforming was marked as the answer
R-33 ballistics is correct(yes, it's slightly worse than R-27ER). R-33 outclassed by R-40 because R-40 overperformed and requires adjustment.
