  1. Thanks for your work, SabreTLA.

I just tried the new BFT04 and had the following problem:

While flying from WP2 to WP3, I was never told to "turn left" to the direction of the runway. So I kept flying straight "forever".

Is that the way it's supposed to be? I would have expected a radio message like "Now it's time to approach the runway. Make a turn to Batumi airfield".

    Thanks,

    derelor

  2. Thanks for the feedback. I haven't tested the mission against the latest patch version so it may have changed the program behavior.

    1. If you missed a checklist item the program should tell you and if you didn't then it should say "Ok Cadet. Let's test your ground handling skills. Follow me!" but you got that message at the end of the mission. Looks like the flags got screwed up somehow.

I'll try it again on my system with the latest patched version and see if I get the same results.

    2. Yes you won't hear Batumi unless the radios are on and tuned 131.0Mhz.

    3. There is a timed flyover so it is possible the timing got messed up and the choppers had already overflown. Can you send me a track and I'll see what they did.

    4. From what it sounds like the flags got messed up and you got that message at the end of the mission instead of at the beginning. Please send me a track file and I'll investigate.

    Thanks.

Here is a track showing the mentioned problems (not number 2, since I tuned the radios this time).

  3. I downloaded BFT-02 but i dont understand where to meet him after i start up?....can anyone fix me in the right direction...its either go to the end of the runway by myself or park right in front of the trucks at the second entrance to the runway

Take a sharp left after starting up (B 31).

Great TM, Sabre! Keep up the good work.

I had to google the term "Hard Deck Limit" :-)

  4. Thank you very much for the BFT01 update. I just tried the mission (BFT v1.0 final) with A-10C v1.1.0.6 and noticed the following:

    1. After the voice says “Let me check your checklist items” I don't get any feedback at all. Instead the next thing I hear is: “speed it up, you're falling behind”. I wasn't even informed I had to follow...

    2. When taxiing on the runway, voice says “Ignore the tower for now Cadet”, but I don't hear the tower saying anything. Probably my fault, I should have tuned the radios, right?

    3. On the runway, I hear “Hey Cadet! Check out the flight on the right! I wonder where those choppers are headed?”, but there are no choppers in sight.

    4. After finishing shutting down the aircraft I hear “OK Cadet. Let's test your ground handling skills. Engage your Nose Wheel Steering an follow me!” instead of receiving my grade.

I'll try the mission again later today to see if I can reproduce. Keep up the good work!

  5. Hi!

I am collecting typos/errors I found in the training missions. I'd like to see them fixed in an upcoming patch.

UPDATE! Some of the typos/errors have been fixed in the latest patch v1.1.0.7. Errors that have now been fixed are marked in GREEN, those who are still present in v1.1.0.7 are marked in RED. Newly added typos are marked in BLACK.
