  1. Actually I realize that when playing in game, I mean while fighting or flying in a mission, it doesn't matter the resolution. Because mostly we don't closing the panels or zooming. So, I'm thinking that if I reduce the resolution, the game is loading very quickly... or that may be wrong thought. (HD viewing must be great for bigger LCD or LED TVs, huh?)

Ok, I'll try for that. :)

  2. Oh, I forgot to compete my answer. :) Yes, I can't hear anything from Ricardo. And yes, I prepared two different warning light DDS files.

    By the way...

I have no intention about making a Mod. If Sorcer3r wants, he can already do something like I did above. Or, if Ricardo wanted, he would be eager to convert his pit for BS2.

    I just mixed them.

And I'm thinking that; To me, in BluePit, there are some points that should be improved. I'd lkie to send them to Sorcer3r. And it's up to him, may be he adds them into his Mod...

    That's it...

Anyway.. Thanks for all attention and messages..

  3. Thank you guys.

Shortly; I'm aware of the permission necessity. So, that's why I just share pictures, not published as a Mod. This is just a preview. I'll do some corrections. And if I get permissions from Ricardo and Sorcer3r, I'll make a mod with their names.

Congratulations, it looks really good! I wonder if it can be ported to BS2? Thanks!!

I'm using it with BS2. I can not publish it without permission. Actually and may be, I can't publish. Because all of these're not my works.

really bad, sorry. first rule, always keep realism.
I understand of course. But, could you give me a clue, what is not realistic for you? Warning lights? Black plates or blue color? Thank you.

    I like it.

    Nate

    Thanks Nate. :)

HOLLY SHIT I CANNOT REP YOU MORE!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I have no idea about rep thing. It's OK, thank you. :)

Rep inbound, Can we use this?
Sorry. Can't be used for now.

You used Ricardo's high resolution textures?

Please ask for permission to release it.

Yes. But I reduced the resolution. And right, I'm aware of permission. I know that.

i remember some copyright marks on ricardos textures. so i guess for that you need his permission. But of course no objections on my part :)
Thanks. If I can't take permission, I'll do this in another way or do nothing...

Shame ricardo hasen't been on the forum for a while now :(
Right. Actually, I converted his HD Pit for BS2 completely and used for myslef. (Later, when saw BluePit, I mixed them like shown pictures.)

This looks interresting. But personally I would prefer the warning lights exactly like they are in reality.

Yes, you're right. Actually, I kept original view. I'll change it. Ok. :)

  4. Hi...

I really love Ricardo's HD pit (BS1) and Sorcer3r's Blue Pit (BS2). They're pretty original works. First of all, I must thank you all for your works!.

Eeerrr... Last week, I had no work to do and so, I'm bored, you know. Then I mixed these two pits!. Yea, I know, I didn't take any permission for this from them. But it was just personal use and is. Tonight, actually I just wanted to share the pictures. I don't know what you think...

    Some changes;

    • Warning light lamps all changed. Yes, they're not realistic. But in game, I really can see them easly!

    • Changed ABRIS screen's reflection.

    • Master Arm; Yellow-Black Zebra.

    • Texts on the collective re-newed.

    • Changed the letters on AutoPilot panel (H, B, P, A), like Russian version.

    • Renewed oil press temp. or other temperature gauges. Since BS1, they were annoying me.

    • Fixed gauges and voltmeters etc. on Elec Sys Control on Aux-wall.

    * And I admit, I plated too much black cover on overhead panel, right-wall and aux-wall. I'll reduce them (back to blue).

    * Some shadow shapes from HD Pit will be removed.

...You may not like them though...

  5. Dear Santa @ ED...

I would like for the ME to have a new 'action' within the Triggers section called "audio time delay" which can be set in seconds. In this way I could set up a Trigger > Condition with Actions of:

    1. Sound To All ('TargetHit.wav')

    2. Audio Time Delay (2 secs)

    3. Sound To All ('TargetDestroyed.wav')

    4. Audio Time Delay (4 secs)

    5. Sound To All ('Defensive.wav')

    6. Audio Time Delay (3 secs)

    7. Sound To All ('Abort.wav')

I want this so I can use the stock sounds in DCS and play them in series rather than at the same time. In this way I can make an immersive audio "backdrop" using the stock sounds that come with DCS (that all other users already have on their hard-drive) rather than having to create and upload new sounds etc. We could all then try to mimick the radio comms of ground units as they engage, so that us CAS pilots can "hear them" in action.

Might not be true to RL, but a damn sight less sterile of an environment.

    Thanks for the consideration.

    Brewber.

I was looking for this problem's solve. I realized that ED never did take care. A beautiful Mission Editor we have, but there's no a command that we can sequence the wav files. Obivously, I'll have to try to cheat sofware or struggle with flags or something else...

Why? Please don't angry me, but, if ED won't care this thread, why are we typing all these?

  6. ...In Short ... the Proplem isnt the Shkval.:smilewink:

This is normal and i think its a feature.

    1. You are moving to much without tracking the Target...

    I agree with Isegrim.

Sometimes I forget HDG(AP) off or FD AP on. So, although I lock the target and AUTO TURN is on, Ka-50 turns/yaws another direction. Then Shkval seems going crazy.

It's needed that Auto Pilot and Auto Turn must be ON. And of course Ka-50 must be well trimmed.

  7. Yes, I have this yesterday.

I flied very well (IMO), and did some artistic maneuvers on little "hills". Was too close to ground, like a few meters. Finally I landed perfect.

For the making video, when I've replayed the track, I saw that I crashed on the ground while low flying and of course disapointed!

  8. Hi.

Is that a bug? Are you seeing it like this?

In the first picture, looking at the UV-26. It's normal.

But, in second picture, you reach the ceiling and look at the UV-26, it seems there's a second layer in Russian language.

    Why is that?

  9. Devrim. are you saying that you can save each category of controller seperatly and presumably load seperatly. I didn't know that it worked that way I think i may have inadvertantly loaded a joystic profile into my keyboard column. It could definatly be clearer, oddly i've never had a problem in A10 and i'd guess it works exactly the same.

    Exactly and exactly. :)

I have no idea about A-10C. I don't play it. In Black Shark, -yes- you save & load each category seperatly.

At least, I always do like that. Never had problems.

    :joystick:

  10. Thanks for the advice (which I should have thought of!!)

I have an x52 joystick that had assigned itself a slider to the zoom key.

    Thanks again.

Yes. I use zoom like that too. But actually I'm not sure that if I'm happy with that. And you're right. As you said, sometimes it conflicts with zoom setting set by keyboard.

After using zoom via slider, I set the slider to minimum. And then I click/press on the "wheel" (on the X52-Collective) to reset zoom distance (like pressing Enter on Numpad).

Yea, that's not practicaly or not easy way to use.

Also, if you leave the slider in the middile, cockpit camera is mostly trembling. And this kills the enjoyment of the game.

So... I have no any suggestion. Actually I always use the "wheel" on the Collective for zooming. Using the slider is a rapid/quick tool for max zoom in action. :)

  11. Hi. In this topic, I'm trying to tell how to use X52 silver HAT and SST Software to slew Shkval diagonaly. If this was told before, I'm sorry and I'd like a Moderator to merge with actual topic or lock/erase this thread.

    * I may tell like telling a child or a person who don't know much, because of my English. :) So, I'm sorry, you may pass the lines that you've already known. And please ignore my words. :)

    ***

Actually we can do this with black POV2 easly. In SST Software, right-click on POV2 area, select 4 WAY, save and re-load profile. In BS2 control page, assign the slew controls to POV2. That's it. It works diagonaly. But I couldn't manage same way for POV1. And I tried this method I told below and it has worked properly.

    ***

Of course, we use SST Software to do it. But before, I assign a key for each way (in Control page, Blackshark). As below, Left Control and numeric keys are assigned for Shkval movement. Please ignore my keys shown below. I completely changed keys all for myself. Of course you may have different keys.

Just 4 keys to slew Shkval.

    devrim_shkval-1.jpg

Now, run Profile Editor and load your profile for Black Shark 2. As you know, metal HAT on the stick is named POV1.

Click the arrow on POV1 area (or right-click) and make sure "8-way" selected, and click on "Buttons".

    devrim_shkval-2.jpg

Now, this step is so simple; Click the box area of POV1↑ and press the keys you want. In this picture, I press left Control and 8. Click on "ok" sign and type a name for it like SHKVAL-UP.

Assign other three ways (POV1→, POV1↓ & POV1←) in the same way.

    devrim_shkval-3.jpg

And in this step, we assign 'diagonal' ways.

As shown below; right-click in the empty area of POV1 and click on "New Advanced Command..."

    devrim_shkval-4.jpg

Edit Action Command page comes. You may type a command name, of course.

One click on "Press" box. Cursor blinks.

Now, type your keys. This command will slew Shkval cam up and right direction. So, your keys should be mixed of UP and RIGHT keys.

I press & hold LeftControl and hit 8 and 6, and release LeftControl. It appears like that:

    devrim_shkval-5.jpg

Now, I delete the "released keys" (I may have described wrong).

    devrim_shkval-6.jpg

Last step; (That's important - I guess) I "quantized" the time between the key-strokes. I set it 0,010 sec.

(I do this, because if the "time" between keys are greater than 0,080, 0,090 or 0,110 secs, SST software can miss one or more keys of the key-sequence. For example; sometimes SST doesn't see "control key", and performs only 8 or 6 key. So, my cockpit camera moves by itself. So, it's good to set lower value.)

    devrim_shkval-7.jpg

    devrim_shkval-8.jpg

At the end of process, it should be seen like that.

    devrim_shkval-9.jpg

Save the profile. Clear and re-load profile via the Saitek icon placed on system-tray. That's it. It works perfect so far.

May be there's easier way to do this. Please, I'll be happy if you feed back about result. (And I'll be glad if you correct the grammar or expression of my message.)

    Thanks so much.
