How much personal information is in the logs? I am not trying to expose sensitive data to the web all for some computer game you know? Can I review the logs first?

Do you think we can Uninstall dcs and that may fix it? I bet that would take days though

Yeah turned all that offand still no go. But I bet it has locked something up.. I will wait a few more days before Uninstalling stuff. To see if it gets fix. Thanks for the insight.

yes it was yesterday, I thought it was due to that UI launcher I the way I took the screen shot. I cropped it to not show my account name

Title Tells The Tale. This is what I get when I start DCS. I get that little number 1 in the tiles as well. Let me add I did a dcs repair. I had not played DCS for a couple of months.. and the only difference between then and now was that I added a different monitor to the setup because my old unit burned out.

Hi there, I understand what you are writing when you described what should be happening... what I am describing is what is happening in my instance. I open the wheel and access the manual frequency entry. Nothing happens I can't do anything. The Wheel seems stuck in input mode. At that point there are no options to do any thing. Not even exit the jester command wheel. I am stuck. I can go to external view and wheel is there. I can come back to cockpit view the wheel is still there. At that point my only option is to exit the module. Again I am using VR so that is why I am wondering if its a bug. because once I am in this data entry mode the game get stuck and I have to exit the module and return to the main menu of the game.

Hi All, Can't seem to find any information in the manual on how the heck to escape out of the Jester wheel of commands when I click on Manual Frequency Entry. Is this a Bug... I am stuck, the only way out was to exit the game module and uninstall dcs. Alt F4 the computer (see what I did there) No I did not have to uninstall but I did have to exit the mission ( I was instant action cold start Nevada Map) I check the manual and could not find a world on how to do any data entry or how I could exit. The wheel would not respond to any commands and as stated I was forced to exit. Thanks null

Hi No I was not removed from Discord. I did not remove myself from the discord forum.. One day I was able to chat. The Next day I was not. I got this odd requirement to render a cell phone number which I simple will not do. I will not allow anyone to harvest my information and sell it just to talk about a game that I have been playing for years with no problem. If I am honest... I feel like I am being targeted and or singled out and pseudo banned for no reason at all and with no warning... I have asked other members of the forum and they have not had this requirement asked of them.. most suspect this is a scam. I have never had to register a phone number with discord. Again if you guys are doing anti bot stuff then I am clearly not a bot. Also if this was something that you guys were going to turn on I would think you would give us users a heads up. Here is the information from discord It shows muted My Last ability to post was 12/11/2023 I was able to make 10,150 comments on that discord forum so this is not something that was required while I have been a member there. As I have written before this was targeted by someone on that forum or something rule change that was arbitrarily enforced I suspect.

Yes I understand that but I have been on that channel for years I am sure that something like that would apply to someone trying to join not some one that has been there and posted help and received help there for many years now. I have been on this DCS forum since 2005 so I am not a bot. When I Joined that discord there was no phone requirement. Are you also saying to use that there is ZERO option for email verification and that something that seem to be rolled out, out of the blue has cause users to be banned inadvertently? The other issue is that discord does not allow you to use voice over IP numbers. I am pretty sure that DCS security teams are not wanting or requiring users to go out and rent a number just to re-join their discord are they? I mean that seem to be the only options we have left is to rent a temporary number to get back in to dcs chat. If that is what it is please confirm thanks so much for your time

For weeks I have been locked out of discord because When I signed up I did not use a mobile number. For as long as I have been on discord I have never had a problem. Now I am effectively banned with no warning from the community operators that we would need to hand over our phone numbers to be on their discord. Can some one from management look into this for us users that use email vs telephone for verification. I would like to be able to stay in the loop on the Dcs discord. Thank you!
