From the age of this thread, I'm guessing you still can't use Trackir for controlling the F11 free camera?! Just asking, since I'm still new to A10. Thanks, Simon.

Well done DCS, noticeably smoother, even the night flights with my Core i7 920/ GTX 275 combo are very smooth! I've even been able to max the visibility now and yes, trackir runs very smooth now. Great!

I agree with you guys, I only bought it 2weeks ago and am having a ball. I loved xplane, but am hardly flying it right now. So much to learn. Well done DCS! and it runs very well on my 18mth old pc. And I'm finally getting the hang of the cameras!

Hey, this thread is a great help to new visitors, thanks! I use Sony Vegas home edition with a few plugins, it's great value. Is there any way to slow the mouse down when panning. I've just bought A10c, it seems so much faster than I'm used to in xplane? Can't wait to do some better movies, GA's project 10 sold me! That multi-rocket launch shot- amazing!

Wow! Thanks, looks good to me. Excuse my ignorance, I'm very new to this sim, having been xplane only for 18 mths. I think Ive discovered a whole new universe! I'll read GAs great tutorial too. If u check out my YouTube channel youll see what I was able to get out of xplane. A large learning curve now

Thanks! I just found the avi feature in the missions editor, yes you are correct... If a few can confirm, I'd love to upgrade to the latest patch, but knowing what patches are like, I'd just like a few OKs!

Hi, I'm another n00b who's very impressed with this sim, stunning actually! 3 pretty basic questions- 1. I can't get screenshots to work, I keep trying to change keyboard controls and can never find the screens or even see it actuate. I've checked the screenshots page. I haven't upgraded to latest patch. 2. I love making movies, so is there any inbuilt movie recording feature? 3. Finally, can I safely upgrade to the latest patch, no major issues to prevent me enjoying the sim? Hope to see more of you around, even the online mode is so easy to get going. I'm still trying to get proficient with cold starts, but even that's fun!
