  1. Have you tried activating the profiles in DSMS? Do the profiles and DSMS correspond with the actuall loadout?
  2. Once you start to get the hang of stuff, then you will use that time to set up weapon profiles and other options to make the systems suit your workflow. Don't worry, you'll get back to having the INS aligned before you're ready in notime! :)
  3. 3 targets.... I see three minute specs of black. How anyone can say which is which from that picture is lying. Also, they are in a field on a screenshot. Pick them out in a town while flying, I'd be impressed.
  4. The MFDs are baically a separate viewport, so it takes almost a hit as a second monitor regardless of resolution. All objects the camera sees is rendered separately from the main viewport. Bring up TGP on one MFD and MAV on the other, and the computer renders three viewports. If you run the sim i 3 monitor mode you are rendering five viewports, basically viewing the entire world from five cameras simultaneously.
  5. FWIW I had the same thing on my ATI 6990. Turned off Tesselation solved it for me.
  6. Yes, we are doing that as well. But the mission makers have to make the same flightplan for all members of the flight for that to be loaded in the DTS at startup. Resolved that by making them something else, I dunno what. We get them as waypoints anyway. :) Can you tell we're noobs yet? ;)
  7. Hello guys. I've got the HOTAS and Cougar MFD pack, and they are great. But I see I still click the screen a little, and mosty that't the UFC or the CDU. Do you know if there is an UFC keypad to be bought that can be used with A10C, similar to the MFD pack or the Saitek flight panels? I've searched the interwebs, but so far no luck.
  8. I agree. I have the same thing in my field of work. Also, I guess the sheer number of flight hours some people get compared to the real thing can accentuate the 'problem' with failuremodelling. I have a relative flying the F-16, and talking to him makes it clear they rarely make a flight without SOMETHING going wrong. Of course full system failures like we get is very rare.
  9. Rainmaker, chill. I wasn't questioning your knowledge on this any more than you just did to the rest of us here. You gave us a number with no reference to where you got it from, while asking the rest of us to provide references. Thanks for the numbers, really appreciated!
  10. So Rainmaker, do you have firsthand experience servicing the Hog then, or did you just pull those numbers out of thin air as well?
  11. Fair enough. :) Seems a bit backward to copy the flightplan for an 8player flight, is all. But no biggie, we'll handle it! :)
  12. Ok, so there's no way I can have my friend as my wingman in a MP mission. and share the flightplan. Seems a little restrictive, tbh. Do you know if there's a reason for that design decision?
  13. Noob missionmaker, but I actually read the manual. I'm trying to create a mission where I want to have a wingman. I set the number of aircraft to 2, and the first is Client. I can't set the other one to client, I have to create a new flight to get another client. I can set AI wingmen to my clients, though. What am I doing wrong?
  14. My alarmclock has two rows of buttons, and when it went off this morning i literally though "OSB3 - snooze" while pressing the top center 'snooze' button....
  15. OT: What happens to the measured AOA if you are in a high yaw, high AOA attitude?
