  1. I've been having some issues with this module too, but going from the 12Gb 3080ti to the 24Gb 3090 seems to have solved a lot of my issues. My 3080ti was pegged at 12Gb VRAM usage. Now I'm peaking at 19,55GB of VRAM usage on the 3090. I expect even that to fill up with some more units (only tried a relatively simple mission on my server, no other players
  2. My 3080Ti in VR runs with VRAM pretty much full at all times, but I have the performance drop after 20-40 minutes with the Apache. No issues with other modules. I have a 3090 on the way, will report back how that fares with twice the memory.
  3. I fly on Syria, yeah. Checked the logs, my RAM is close to full all the time while flying, but not more so when it chokes. Might still be related though. I'll look into getting more RAM, if I can find something compatible with the one I have. Thanks!
  4. I'm having a weird performance issue with my Quest 2 Everything is perfectly fine for a good while, then suddenly it goes to 100% use and the sim just grinds to a halt. My temps are fine and stable, and loads make sense, for a while. After changing chopper the CPU goes nuts for a while, then stuff settles down again. I have attached logs from my last session, where you see I fly around for a while, then crash and change choppers. That's the first "squiggly" part in the loads, that's my physical cores load. During this period the GPY load (red) is fine, and the sim runs acceptable. Then a period of calm and good performance. I'm on the ground and fiddlign with stuff, setting up systems and suddenly the sim just chokes. That's when the GPU load goes pegged. Edit: I also occasionally get the lower third of the display very overexposed at times. I've seen at least one other user report the same issue. Never seen that before in any game or module. Not sure if it's Apache or latest beta, haven't tried any other module than the Apache after the beta. I don't get what could cause this, any ideas? i9 9900K@5GHz 3080Ti 32Gb 3600MHz M.2 SSD
  5. I'm getting a shader compile error, and I noticed my game is at a higher version (18080) than this mod. I assume that is the fault here. It's my first try at this, so be gentle if I'm missing something obvious...
  6. I had draw distance set to medium. Set it to whatever if above high, and all is well. Performance is smooth with a very occational hiccup (2-3 times in a flight), so that's my current settings done. I'll experiment more with getting my resolutions sorted as @Hoirtel suggested. Thanks guys!
  7. I've got the OTT default SS set to 1,5, the Oculus software is set to 1.0, and pixel density in DCS is set to 1,3. Where should I set the supersampling once and for all? Is there somewhere that will set it "globally" for all games?, DCS in particular?
  8. I'm VERY happy with my Q2 image quality and performance. Dials and MFDs are very readable and up close detail is great. However, ground textures and detail go blurry very quickly. What is the "cheapest" way (performance wise) to improve this rendering detail? Also, I currently have the OTT set to 1,5 times supersampling, and 1,3 in game. Is the 1.3 overriding the tray tool, or would it be better to set the tray tool to 1.8 and ingame to 1.0?

  10. Is there any ay to remove the MFD-renders from the main viewport and only have them on my side screens? tried a search but didn't get any hits.
  11. Why the high MFD resolution? Unless you have a HUGE screen or a separate screen for the MFD I'd say you are rarely getting more than 512 lines of MFD imagery. Seems like a waste of resources to me.
  12. I've had enemy SU-25s land on my home plate too. Bloody annoying cause you never get cleared to land after that....

  14. Went from 6990 to a 680. NEVER looking back. Performance has increased everywhere, adn zero hassle and jumping through hoops to wring out performance.
  15. Don't have the Mustang, but my A-10 shadows are smooth. GTX680.
